Seneca lake Love Shack Route 14 Penn Yan NY in the heart of Wine Country

Two bedroom Two full bath Log Cabin built in 2005 with 100 x 300 property including private beach front and dock located on the west side of Seneca lake. This is a non Smoking and Pet free residence with Central Air. The basement and any outbuildings are not included in the rental and are for our private use only. Unplug sit back and relax on the deck overlooking Seneca lake or just go down the steps to the private beach and dock. The main bedroom is a loft bedroom with private full bath and king bed. Bedroom two has a queen bed and door access to the main full bathroom. There is a queen sleeper sofa for additional guests in the living room. Kitchen has silverware, dishes for 6 as well as pots and pans for cooking. Enjoy cooking outside on the Weber grill, LP gas included. This property is located just 7 miles south of Geneva NY and Hobart and William Smith College. Enjoy 7 local wineries within 5 miles of the property. We are just a half mile from Fox Run Vineyards and walking distance to Weavers-View Farm Barn Weddings. There is also an additional 3 season space fully enclosed with windows all around. Other items included are stove/oven, refrigerator,microwave. Roy's Marina has boat rentals just a short distance away, so you can enjoy fishing, skiing or tubing on the lake. Nothing can be tied to the dock due to destruction of the dock and watercraft. I have one smaller spare boat hoist that can handle up to 16 or 17 foot boat
We have outside security surveillance for the security of our property and insurance purposes. There are NO cameras inside any part of the residence. We have two cameras, one is located off the back ( driveway Side of the house) and one is located off the basement door and covers that area.

This our third time at the Love Shack. We love the house, the view of the lake, and the location. The place is clean and comfortable. It’s amazing to wake up and see the sun rising up over the lake out of the big windows. Book it now!

This house was as advertised. Nice location away from town but close to everything around the Finger Lakes. Great recommendations from the owner on places to go and things to do. Definitely go to Watkins Down State Park!Would stay here again.

Great house with great views of the lake.

We stayed here with another couple and our stay was great. The house was perfect for our needs, and despite the high temperatures we enjoyed the views off the deck of the lake. The location is great for exploring the wineries, and about 30 minutes from Watkins Glen State Park. Everything you would need is provided for you.

Great house, we had a wonderful serene weekend away. It was super clean and in a perfect location on the lake. Waking up ever morning with coffee on the deck was incredible. Our mini getaway was amazing! The house and the view were perfect. Waking up in the morning to the view of the water is amazing! We played games on the enclosed porch during the rain and just enjoyed our time. We will be back again! The area has a lot to offer for food, beer and wine!. 40th Birthday Getaway

My husband turned "40" this past weekend and to celebrate we decided to come back to an area we fell in love with last fall. The cabin is perfectly located right in the middle of so many wineries/breweries we still have yet to visit ALL of them. That just means we will certainly have to return!! As soon as we walked it, it smelled freshly cleaned. The view is spectacular so even if the weather doesn't cooperate to enjoy the deck/yard you can sit on the second level with a glass of wine and enjoy the lake view with your love. We played cards in the evening at the porch table giving it an Adirondack feel. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to use this host in the future. Thank You!!

Weekend getaway Seneca lake

We had a very good day. The house was better in person than in the pictures. Extremely clean. Host was very responsive to any questions. Excellent location to Seneca wine trail and Watkins Glen State Park. Use from the porch were breathtaking. Highly recommend staying here

Nicest “shack” in the FLX

This was our third stay at the Love Shack and it couldn’t have been better! We come each fall to tour wineries and waterfalls. The Love Shack is cozy and relaxing with an amazing view of the rising sun each morning, a lovely deck, and all the amenities for a long weekend stay. The location is great for traveling around Seneca and Keuka. The winery across the street-Scout-is wonderful!

Friends get away

Clean property with a beautiful lake view. Giving 4 stars due to second bedroom in the loft is open to the living room. The second bathroom upstairs had poor water pressure. The listing stated soap was provided but that was only hand soap and dish soap. No soap for showering. With all that said, we would likely stay again.

Great Locely Holiday Home if you come from the city

We loved the lake and the bbq deck. The house was very clean and everything was there for a great Holiday. If you come from the big city everything is good. If you are used to more quiet surroundings, this might be not for you. There is a noisy road behind the house that you can hear inside as well. Also if you don't want to wake up at six, bring something to cover your eyes because the curtains are very light.

Weekend getaway

Great long weekend in wine country. The property was clean and a great location on the lake. Beautiful views and a short walk down to the lake. Close to wineries and restaurants. Our host Tim was excellent and quick to respond to questions. He thankfully replaced our coffee pot in a matter of hours. Would recommend the Love Shack and we will stay here again.

Comfort and convenience on Seneca Lake

This was our second stay at the Love Shack. We had a great experience both times: Tim was helpful, the property was immaculate, comfortable, and perfectly located. We enjoyed the pellet stove in the living room, the large deck, the quick trip down to the lake, and the beautiful sunrise through the huge windows. The home was a perfect base for us to make day trips to wineries, breweries, and waterfalls. We love the Finger Lakes--and a big part of that is finding this rental!
