Great property. Was in very good condition. Would stay there again and recommend. The carpet in our room wasn’t vacuumed the first couple of days.

Regarding the vacuuming, we only vacuum the rooms during deep cleans, which is usually every four days, so this is why you did not see this happen. I reserved a king and didn’t get it. Front staff was awful. Not friendly at all. I stay in hotels 130 times a year and this was the worst staff at front desk. Very nice place to stay if they had better staff

Hello david, We are sorry to hear about your poor experience at our property, particularly due to your room type and a disheartening experience with our staff. Looking at your reservation, it came to us as standard room, which is based on hotel availability, and at the time, we did not have king rooms. We do apologize for the mix-up here, as we genuinely do our best to accommodate all guest requests. We will also make sure to speak to our front desk staff, as we are a bit surprised that they were not helpful, given they have gotten a lot of positive feedback. While we know we let you down, we do hope you will consider giving us another opportunity to serve you again in the future.

The staff was amazing very helpful , the room was very clean they cleaned it everyday , and the breakfast that they offer very good too. Also the staff very helpful if you need help with anything .

Just Okay.

My fiancé and I stayed for a business event. Our room was just okay. There were bright red stains all over the carpet in the entire living area. There was also no full length mirror, which made it a little difficult to get ready for my event. We also requested a room with a nice view, and unfortunately were facing the pool and felt other guests could see directly into our room, hence why we kept the shades closed most of the time, which was disappointing. The tea selection which is usually pretty robust with Holiday Inn, was also lacking, but that was a minor issue. Overall, we'll stay with Holiday Inn Express again, just wasn't pleased with this particular location. All staff were very nice and accommodating though, no issues there. And we were accommodated with a late check out due to my event, staff was very helpful.

In regards to the view, we felt the pool view was the best, as most of the king rooms face either a parking lot or a neighborhood, so we are sorry that you were unpleased. We will also make sure to let our maintenance team know about the stains on the carpet, so that we can get these taken care of right away. Great place to stay

We stayed in Gilbert for 4 days. It was great to see some sunshine. Temperatures were perfect. Location was awesome. Great places to eat and easy to get around. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Would recommend staying here.

Reasonable prices, very clean rooms. Convenient to interstate/major highways/Fountain Hills, etc. Friendly staff, but noted at times that some employee(s) took frequent smoking/vaping breaks outside the front entrance as phones rang unmonitored at the desk which, in my opinion, speaks to both the work ethic and professional image of some staff members. Breakfast is complimentory, solidly average and sufficient, but doesn't change much from day-to-day, which is a bit disappointing for those having longer stays. Pool/spa area is above average for a 3 star property, but because of its location, the sun is blocked by parts of the property depending on the time of day. This can create significant temperature variations requiring frequent repositioning of chairs - especially in the winter months to keep warm. Nonetheless, this was a surprisingly nice place to hang out, complete with grills for barbecuing and a propane powered fire pit to gather at in the evenings. Piped in music was relaxing. Overall, would recommend as a solid value choice for business travel, but less so for those seeking the amenities desirable for a longer stay.

It is certainly nor appropriate for our front desk members to leave the desk unattended for long periods of time while outside in guest view smoking, and it has been addressed with them.
