Although the staff were absolutely wonderful and very welcoming, this was WAY overpriced, especially given the extent of the renovations going on (no restaurant, for one thing). Even once those are done this will never be a $300/night hotel. The only reason they can charge that is because it’s right next to the Mayo Clinic. It’s not worth the money.

Stay Away!

Stay away! It’s in the middle of a remodel that isn’t announced BEFORE booking Our reservation was for a deluxe room with 2 Queen beds. This Is NOT what we got. It was a king bed with a sleeper sofa. Tried to call front desk but phone didn’t work. I had to walk around the building to get to lobby due to the construction I was told no other rooms were available and that there wasn’t anything they could do . The front desk then blamed Expedia on the room mix up even though I showed her my reservation that confirmed 2 queen beds! Then, they come knocking on our door, they will refund us but only if we left! Remind you it’s now 9pm..where did you want us to go? Our car? Spiders in room, no view except shipping containers and trash, dirty stained carpets and terrible service! Save yourself a headache and RUN!

The room smelled like construction- I was a little concerned that the smell was toxic. One day there were construction guys hanging out in the hotel hallway after 5. It was a lil awkward as a single female.

Very disappointing--it’s a construction zone with nails all over the parking lot, no complimentary coffee in the lobby, no smart TV (all you are left with are a few live channels--not even the option of signing in to your own streaming accounts), walls are paper thin--you can hear everything, including the person next door talking normally on their phone, and the hotel is very stingy (quite a few additional charges from parking to checking in), lots of garbage on vacant property next to hotel, and the little considerations, such as sulfate-free shampoo and conditioner, are also amiss. There are many of other hotels close by—go with one of those..
