First floor rooms

While making our reservations on Hotels.com we requested first floor rooms, adjoining if possible. This was due to my Mom being 88 years old and in a wheel chair. All 3 of us daughters help with her care when traveling. We also put on our reservation that we would be a late check-in around 8pm. When we arrived the manager on duty said she didn't have 2 rooms together on the 1st floor and we could be on the 2nd floor but not together. Then after another 5 minutes she did find 2 rooms on the 2nd floor - so we had to take an elevator with my Mom's wheelchair / scooter. This is a true safety hazzard if there were to be a fire and no power for the elevator we would absoultely be trapped on the 2nd floor not able to get my 88 year old Mom out of the building. Our room was fine but the TOILETS in these rooms are lower to the floor than any toilet we've ever seen. They seem like ones to use for toddlers in an elementary school. Seriously, we had to keep walking the full-length of the hallway from our room, back to the elevator, take the elevator downstairs and use the handicap public bathroom on the first floor. The manager on duty Friday morning said they have handicap rooms with a roll-in shower but still no handicap toilets available. Thats not very ADA compliant at all. We had the option of getting a handicap room on the first night but 2nd room would be other end of hall or another floor. Still no decent toilet for an 88 year old to get up off of.

Very friendly and helpful service from the front desk man that was from Tucson Az, would recommend to others, it’s clean and in a convenient location. Location was secure

Great Stay

Great pool/hot tub area. Nice breakfast variety. Clean and convenient to many restaurants.

Our "go to"

This has been our "go to" place to stay for years while driving home from Florida to Toronto. Close to the highway, ok restaurants are nearby, and the rooms are always quiet and clean.

We had a nice stay. The kids enjoyed the pool very much! Our room felt clean. There was some webs at the ceiling but overall it wasn’t bad. The pool area rarely had towels and the hot tub wasn’t real hot, jets was lacking but, again it was still a nice stay. Just letting you know in case you are unaware.
