Charming Old Florida Beach House
Publié le 17 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayWe stayed in Peacock Lane Cottage for a week and found the property ideally located - right on the best part of the LGI beach and extremely well-maintained. Amenities included charming furnishings and art, back and front porch areas with beach views, a well-equipped kitchen, a pillow top king sized bed, and a recently renovated modern shower. There’s a full size washer and dryer and plenty of beach furniture available, too. The host, Laura, is very helpful and responsive. This is the house to book!

Perfect Island Getaway
Publié le 25 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayPeacock Lane Cottage was an absolute dream! We couldn’t have had a better vacation. Laura was responsive to all of our questions and was very helpful when needed. The cottage was very clean and had everything we needed. It was stocked with all the necessities and more. We hope to come back next year to enjoy it another year with our family.

Pink Cottage in Paradise!
Publié le 21 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayFirst of all...Laura is the best of the best as a host for her Cottage. Her communication, attention to detail and literally thinking of everything in regard to making our visit perfect was exemplary.
The Pink Cottage was even better than described. It is very cozy and comfortable with tremendous views everywhere. Everything that we could possibly need was provided.
The location was incredible. We were literally on the beach with a turquoise ocean right there in front of us. Pictures say a lot, but once you're there, it's mind blowing!
We had the most relaxing week enjoying the comfort of the Pink Cottage and the beauty of all that Little Gasparilla Island has to offer. We especially loved the serenity, sitting on the front or back deck and being able to unplug and just take it all in. We are going back!

We are so pleased that your 2 sets of friends who joined you couldn't thank you enough as they too had a great time.
You shared with me that you had not done this 'kind of vacation' before so we were flattered you chose our cottage and LGI to be your first barrier Island experience.
We were sorry however that you felt 'no property' should ever receive 5 stars, even a Marriott.
Our cottage is on a bridge-less Island, accessible only by boat, which is part of the magic! There are no amenities per se so there are things you will experience which would be quite different than a traditional hotel/resort setting.
Little Gasparilla Island is unique as it still retains the mystique of 'Old Florida'. No crowds, stores, cars or roads. It is a place to enjoy the wonders of nature, spectacular sunsets, amazing shelling, beach-combing and swimming in the turquoise
water of the Gulf along with so much more.
We are very happy you did experience 'all of these things' and thank you again for visiting.

Perfection
Publié le 28 nov. 2023 sur HomeAwayLaura was such a gracious and helpful host. She’s exactly what you hope for when you book an online property. She made planning our trip such a pleasure. We enjoyed her adorable cottage, her suggestions and recommendations.
When we were planning our trip, we were looking forward to a quiet, private beach on the Gulf of Mexico. Laura’s cottage fit the bill perfectly. It fit our family of 4 just right.
Everything we would expect from a beach house was there. Laura helped us figure out the transportation system and was there to answer any questions I had from the day we booked to the day of check-out. There was never nothing for us to do on the island. My husband enjoyed shore fishing (bring your own travel pole), while my girls built sand castles and I hunted for shells and shark teeth.
My only regret was not booking a longer stay, but I plan to remedy that by returning again. We felt completely at ease and welcomed on the island and plan on coming back to stay at this exact cottage home in the future!

We Loved the House!
