Avis Year-Round Studio w/ Patio: Grill, Hike & Fish!

I would give the studio in this location four stars but our visit was decimated by poor communication from the property management group and difficulty accessing our unit on arrival. The property management group uses standardized texts to communicate. However their responses to return texts are impersonal (ie. see details in your email) to nonexistent. There was also a disconnect in them recognizing that I had sent in the required contract several days in advance. And they kept repeatedly texting me that all guests MUST sign the contract. We were not able to access the unit until an hour after our agreed arrival, even though I called the contact person almost an hour ahead. There was music nearby with a loud base beat keeping me up one night. Parking is not clearly defined and we had to ask a neighbor to move a vehicle to park close to our unit. Another interesting standardized text was received at 11 PM in our small studio unit waking us up to remind us of the checkout procedures for the next day. I had multiple communications as I reserved on Expedia, the property is listed under VRBO, a group called Evolve manages these reservations and the property is not managed by an owner but an impersonal group. Way to many parties involved.

Booking and renting was super easy. The cottage was clean, comfortable, and peaceful. Exactly what I needed!!

We were looking for an escape to a relaxing and mountainous getaway and this certainly lived up to our expectations! We stayed in a suite and everything was clean and orderly. They are also very detail oriented, so there is no room to wonder. Everything is easy to understand as “p touch labeled” directions are located throughout the suite. The property is monitored with security cameras, which ensured our safety and well being. You can come and go as you please with your unique code provided to you for your stay. We will visit again! Very pleased!

it was a great place to get away and relax, quiet,, early in season so not a lot of other people there, Perfect.

Needed a weekend away, got it. Nice quiet place.
