How close is #4 âśşDelightful Inn Room Near Lake Crescentâśş to the airport?
This hotel is 10.6 mi (13-min drive) away from the Port Angeles, WA (CLM-William R. Fairchild Intl.) airport, the closest popular airport to the property.
Loved the quaint feel about the place. Decorated very well with the use of vintage pieces. New owners have done a great job at making the place "up to date". It was nice without the TV. However, sounds carried from room to room and we could hear conversations in the adjacent rooms as if they were in our room.
We would stay here again in a pinch.
The room is cold and smells musty. Heat only comes from the space heater on the floor in the corner. It looked really cute in the pictures, and is quaint and quiet. Also, no tv. Good/bad, you decide. No staff on site. Didn't find out till later. Restaurant was closed on Tuesday.
Emerald Valley Inn was such a magical experience to unplug, reset, and enjoy the beauty of the Olympic Peninsula..clean, quiet, and so welcoming! I will be back this summer!
This motel is located right on Highway 101, which is the main/only road through this region. This means that it is very heavily traveled, including by large trucks, at all hours of the day and night. It is also attached to a very busy restaurant and ice cream shop that make it difficult to even get into the parking lot and the guest accommodations are very, very near to the crowds waiting for and eating their food. As a result of the traffic and crowds, it is VERY LOUD and not the "quiet reprieve" advertised on the inn's website. The room itself is quite modest with somewhat dated decor and furnishing. The biggest issue with the room we stayed in was the mattress, whose contours mimicked the mountainous landscape of nearby Olympic National Park: hard peaks on the edges, sloping to a valley, and lots of springs. We were glad that we only stayed here for one night and were happy to leave at the crack of dawn.
