Waterfront Relaxation: Amazing Views, Fishing Off Back Porch! Bolivar Peninsula

This beautiful canal front home in Laguna Harbor is very comfortable and relaxing! It is located on the Bolivar Peninsula on a quiet culdesac with no through traffic. You can watch the ships pass on the intracoastal waterway and see the dolphins swim in the canal! You don't have to go far to fish... just cast your line from the boardwalk directly behind the house! The beach is a close drive away & so are all of the great restaurants on the peninsula. The house is very close to the Bolivar/Galveston ferry as well for easy access to tons of activities, historical sites, shops, entertainment & restaurants!

The interiors are wonderfully furnished. Rustic architectural features, including heart pine floors, exposed rough cedar beams and trim and shiplap ceilings, are a nice contrast to the clean design details. The 3rd floor is a large open room that includes the family room area, breakfast area, kitchen and powder bathroom. The full kitchen has a long island bar to accommodate many dining guests. The kitchen plan is open to the family room & wet bar and is perfect for cooking while you visit with your friends/family.

But... the best feature of this house is the nature at your doorstep! There are 4 porches with wonderful views of amazing sunrises over the canal waters and sunsets over the bay! There is an unobstructed view of Bolivar’s scenic natural preserve and the intracoastal waterway from both downstairs & the 2 upstairs decks. You can also enjoy the spectacular view of the starry clear night sky.

The Downstairs has an open air courtyard that often gets a nice breeze off the water. There is a charcoal grill in the courtyard & a table and chairs in the covered living area making these outdoor living spaces ideal for cooking out.

This is our home and we have equipped it with anything that we might want during our stay. We love it here and find it very peaceful and relaxing. We hope that you will do the same!

We loved our stay. The house is beautiful. The property has everything and more. My kids and grandkids had a good time fishing and riding their electric scooters on the sidewalk in the back of the house and around the property which is literally on the water. We had a wonderful time.

Three Friends Fishing

A couple friends and I, enjoyed a two day fishing trip. The weather was challenging (light rain and wind gusting to 40 mph), but the house was fantastic and we still caught fish. We thoroughly our stay.

Quiet and immaculate!

Our Favorite House

This is our 2nd time staying in this house in the past 6 months. This time we had my sister from CA come. We had an absolute amazing time. Only 2 things were the Keurig did not work nor did the outside lights going the whole way down the whole row of the 3 houses so we always walked to the right of the house and down to go fishing at night. But overall an awesome time had by all. We will of course be back.
