Porto is a fascinating city in the north of Portugal with lots of good things to offer you during your stay. There is lots of history as you walk in the streets. Lots of monuments, stores, and cafes. The nightlife is full of vibrant spots to hang out with your family and friends. There is the Douro river, where you can enjoy a nice pleasant river cruise and try many different dishes and wines. It is also located near the coast which provides your the possibility to go to the beach and enjoy a sunny day.
Many places in Porto are easily accessible on foot, but if you prefer public transportation: - There are multiple bus stops that service the area. - The nearest Metro stop: Lapa : (10 min walking) - Francisco SĂĄ Carneiro Airport is 25 mins drive from the flat.
This is a self check-in property and you will be requested to verify your identity before being able to check into the flat. You can check-in anytime of the day as long as you respect our standard check-in time. There is a zero-tolerance policy for smoking in the property. If our team discovers any evidence that this rule has been breached (e.g., smoke smell, ashes, butts, etc.) we fully reserve the right to charge a âŹ200 EUR smoking fee, at minimum. Please note that for stays longer than 30 nights a fair use policy of the utilities will apply with a limit of 100⏠included.
Important note: The hot water works with a water tank when all the hot water is used it will need to wait approximately 40 minutes to refill.
Flat had some good points but was overall unacceptable
I was very disappointed with this flat for a few reasons. Some key items were not available (sharp knives, tea towel, bottle opener, minimal towels, etc) but the main problem was a leaking water tank which constantly dripped into a bowl underneath it. The tank, heated by electricity, was not only dangerous but was made worse because the bowl underneath filled up after a couple of days. I had to regularly empty the bowl, otherwise it overflowed which it did initially. THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE FROM A RENTED HOLIDAY APARTMENT. Communication with the agent was dreadfully slow and I had no direct number to call in case of issues. Then to cap it all, I had to vacate the flat on my last day at 6AM! I have never had to leave any accommodation at such a ridiculously early time! So all in all I wasn't happy with the apartment or Guestready who I booked it through. Never again!
