Booked 3 rooms and Air conditioning was not working. Was offered 20% of final bill for this issue. I have requested email proof that this is being proceed however 1 month later I am still waiting! Poor service

The rooms were a bit small even though we had a suite and ours smelled like smoke. The bathroom also had a lot of mildew in the shower. It was kind of gross. The location is great and the breakfast was high quality.

The property was very well located for sight seeing. I did have an issue with the design of the bathroom sinks, in that they wouldn't hold water. The staff fixed it appropriately. The room was quiet and I was able to manage the temperature easily.

Nice city hotel, walkable to a lot of attractions.

Check in staff friendly and efficient. Room quite small and odd shape. AC not very effective and room very warm. Shower took a long time to get hot and overhead sprinkler not very powerful. Breakfast service variable. 1st day staff didn’t smile, speak or offer coffee, we had to get it ourselves from jugs in corner of room. 2nd day, staff lovely, coffee and omelettes offered and delivered with a smile. Check out early morning was friendly, coffee and breakfast box offered.

First and foremost, what stood out the most during our stay was the incredible customer service and care. From the moment we arrived, every single staff member we interacted with from the managers and front desk team to the restaurant staff on the patio and in the lounge, was absolutely outstanding. They were consistently warm, helpful, and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. While we did encounter a few hiccups at check-in and with our initial room, the staff handled everything with such professionalism and genuine care. They worked hard to make things right, and in the end we were very happy with the rooms we stayed in. Beyond that, the overall atmosphere of the hotel was lovely, and our experience across the property was truly great. The combination of excellent service and thoughtful attention to detail left us with a very positive impression of our stay in Porto. I wish I could remember all of their names but I lost my note card during the travels home so I apologize.

My husband and I loved the location, the breakfast room and the adjacent cafe at the Pestana Porta. The vibe was warm and welcoming, personal shoutouts to Henrique, Joana and Arthur, the staff makes all the difference!

Excellent location for walking and travel to most areas and sites of interest. Personable and professional staff. Some items missing in room from our perspective were: wash cloths; hair conditioner; a cork screw/wine opener; and wine glasses. Would certainly recommend this Hotel!
