"Very cool old hotel, great location downtown, super friendly staff, would definitely recommend. Loved the little coffee & ice area on the second floor! Only two negative things to say..... the wall mounted fireplace in our room didn't work, and there was a crazy amount of cobwebs on the outside of the windows of our room and bathroom. Both those things were minor, and other then those it was great. Would definitely book there again!"

"Awesome stay from checkin to checkout. Perhaps the best VRBO we have stayed in. Very clean, upscale with lots of great art and quality comfortable furniture. The living room, kitchen and master bedroom are surrounded by windows and french doors with incredible views of the lake. The huge wrap around deck has the same. Very private and quiet with your own dock to relax on or park the boat. Cant say enough about this fantastic retreat and the host Ted always available and helpful. I give Teds place my highest recommendation to anyone I know and we will certainly be back!"

"Small, convenient, comfortable hotel. Lovely front desk staff and a great location. The only downside is the window A/C which clicks on and off all night to maintain certain temp. And there is a VERY loud train that goes by under the window. But overall we slept well and would def go back. "

"There’s only one thing that I might suggest that needs improvement. That is the bar soap for washing and the packets of shampoo for your hair. I would suggest that the bar soap should be at least double in size because the current ones are too small to handle and they don’t last that long. As well it’s harder on the environment because you’re constantly throwing out the plastic wrap because you need a new bar to wash with. Also the ketchup style packets of shampoo are incredibly hard on the environment as you can only get one use and then you have to open a new one. My suggestion would be bigger bars of soap for the sink and the pump dispenser style in the shower for shampoo, conditioner and body wash like most other motels utilize nowadays."
