It was just ok. Not bad and not great. Of course the view was nice but the actual hotel needs a facelift. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable but nothing great. There’s a shuttle that runs to town from 1-8.

Really cute place with great views of the bay! Comfortable bed, nice shower! Some amenities are visibly worn and old but it adds to a homey motel feel! Very walkable and cute lobby with welcoming and accommodating staff!

I really want to give The Provincetown Inn a great review as I stayed here many years ago and have good memories. Each and every staff person was kind, friendly and helpful. They really could not have been better to deal with. Sadly, the property is in need of a serious update. For the cost, one should be provided with better. I would love to return one day but I will not unless improvements are made to the property.

I appreciated my early check in, my taxi from the ferry arrived at 2pm, and my room was ready :) I had a ocean view from my room, with a nice deck, beautiful! My A/C, heat, and T.V., worked very well. Just a couple of things that could be improved. I couldn't connect to WiFi, on my phone, or on my tablet for my entire stay. I asked at the front desk, and they said "they didn't have very good connection, they've had problems"? I also asked for a microwave (it said on Expedia, that you could get one on request). They said, "they didn't have any at that time, we're in the process of getting new ones" :( The guy driving the shuttle to town is very friendly, and accommodating.

Terrible check in procedure. Was told before arriving when I reconfirmed my reservation the incident deposit was $75 per night so $150 for my 2 night stay. When I checked in they blocked my card for $995 for incidentals. I asked to talk to the manager as told he was not there. My sister check in 3 hours after me and when she saw the incidental charge for $995 she said no way and they did not block her card Also no lunch food available in the lounge or pool side bar until after 4PM That was both Friday and Saturday. Only one work station to check in at reception so long wait.

Do not recommend

The staff was very unfriendly, not hospitable, and unable to answer simple questions. Our room was not clean and the shower bottles were all completely empty.

Season just opened under relatively new management. Due to that, upon arrival we learned that the restaurant was not open the late afternoon we arrived - in the middle of a raging Nor’easter. Would have been nice to know that before arriving so we could plan to have food in. There seems to be a disconnect between front desk, kitchen & serve staff (& staff in general) about what is available for services or not. Nobody seemed to know? Coordination between staff & management needs to improve. I wish the new management good luck. Really like this old, unique place.

Front desk upon check in was lacking and disorganized. Room was clean. View was amazing. Communication from hotel via daily text was nice. Security was subpar, main entrances were never locked, back door to room key entrance did not work as we got locked out only to find that they were aware of this and didn't inform us. Key cards to room stopped working on multiple occasions and had to be reprogrammed. Bathroom was very tight with a mini sink. Knitpicking aside it was an overall great stay and we would do it again.
