"The hotel is centrally located in the Gothic Quarter, so it’s easy to get where you want to go in Barcelona. The front desk staff were outstanding- so friendly and helpful. Several mornings we needed a taxi at 6:30 or 7:30 and the front desk person set it up the night before without any issues. They were also super helpful in giving directions and recommendations for restaurants nearby. The housekeeping staff were also outstanding and friendly. We didn’t eat breakfast at the hotel because it was €24 per person and that would have been almost €100 for our family each day. I assume it was good, but couldn’t imagine it being that good. We really enjoyed our stay at Catalonia Cathedral Hotel and highly recommend it! "

"Very good hotel in an excellent location for central Barca. Staff, without exception, friendly and helpful. Decent breakfast. Be aware that "room service" comes from outside by motorbike, not from the hotel, and in our case did not arrive in the alloted half hour slot. As it was 11.30pm by then, he was sent away without payment and delivery rejected."

"Located in a central touristy shopping area. Hotel was clean. Courtyard was quite hot (no air flow) but it was quiet and bar made good drinks. Be aware laundry service is charged PER ARTICLE of clothing — not cheap."
