Abundant and peaceful nature in the vicinity of Quito

We have a charming bed and breakfast retreat in a quiet, rural neighborhood in Yunguilla, a hamlet about five kilometers outside the village of Calacali. Perfectly suited as a base to further explore the country. Be our guest in one of our two cozy apartments while having all the comforts of home.

We offer both a two room- and a three-room apartment.

The two room apartment has a living room with kitchenette, bathroom, and a twin bedroom (the beds can be arranged together or separately). In the living room the sitting area can be converted into two single beds. This allows the room to be expanded into a four person accommodation, especially suitable for a family with two children or two couples. There is a terrace with an outdoor fireplace. It can be rented for 1,2,3 or four people.

The three room apartment has the same features as the two room apartment but has an extra bedroom, a second bathroom and a second terrace. (One roofed- and one open terrace).

Our place is perfectly suited for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), writers and artists, people interested in Andean culture or small groups of friends. Our place offers wonderful views of the surrounding Andean highlands. We have, as a natural neighbor, the extinct volcano Pululahua. On a clear day the snowy peak of the volcano Cotacachi can be seen from our terrace ( near Otavalo, 4.944 m height). Whether you wish to retreat to nature or explore the surroundings, you will have a wide choice of activities. Our mission is to offer travelers a relaxing, comfortable and enjoyable time on our land, while supporting them with organizing their stay in Ecuador. If you love stunning scenery of mountains and valleys, not spoiled by disturbing construction and in the vicinity of Quito, this is the place to be.
