"The hotel is pleasant and conveniently located near the plaza and La Casa De Fierro. Luisa at the front desk was exceptionally friendly and accommodating breakfasteas delicious include with my room. However, our stay was somewhat hindered by another staff member who failed to provide water at the front desk; I had to request it from my room, only to be told to purchase water at the bar for 9 soles. It is unreasonable to expect guests to pay for water, as if I order to my room it should be provided free of charge. Our experience at the pool was also disappointing: our server took 40 minutes to prepare a pisco sour despite there being few guests, and he was handling a baby shower alone. Additionally, another staff member was distracted on the phone and forgot to bring me the bill. I provided my room number, 215, and was called at 10:30 p.m. while I was sleepy to sign the bill he had forgotten to bring, which was inconsiderate and disturbed my rest. Housekeeping was subpar; they failed to replace used soap, toilet paper, and towels. I had to personally give them the used items to receive replacements, which is unusual and suggests a lack of trust.
