Perfect location!
Publié le 17 juill. 2023 sur HomeAwayMy son and I stayed here while taking diving lessons. The location was perfect - near many restaurants and great coffee. After a day of diving, there was plenty of room to wash and hang our equipment and clothing - everything was dry very quickly. Plenty of room for us to each have our own space also.

Great Location
Publié le 25 juin 2023 sur HomeAwayLoved the location down by the harbor. We were able to walk to a lot of different restaurants and stroll around the harbor at night after our day time excursions. Hosts were quick to respond to any quesitons we had and even called me when we had an issue with getting the stove to work, which was then quickly resolved.

Excellent location in Harbour
Publié le 23 juin 2023 sur HomeAwayHad a great stay in Reykjavik. Very convenient, easy to find, we walked almost everywhere and was easily walkable to the main attractions in downtown.
Owners were great and quick to reply!
The bathroom was small but not a problem as it had everything needed.
The laundry was a big help for us!

Publié le 17 juin 2023 sur HomeAwayThis apartment is in a great location. The hosts are very responsive. The beds are comfortable and the apartment is clean and well stocked. The bathroom is tiny. Another drawback is that you can hear the people who live upstairs. Also if anyone sleeps on the pullout sofa an eye mask is essential because there aren’t adequate shades on the windows that block out the light.

Dear Mrs. Cutler. We are most unhappy with your rating of 4 out of 5. You requested to check in early. We accepted that and went to lengths to have our cleaning crew come in extra early to accommodate you. This incurred cost. Check in for this apartment is listed at 4PM.
Further, this apartment sleeps 3. This you knew when you booked it for 3 guests. Upon arrival you asked for an extra duvet and pillow, along with the bed linen for an extra guest. We accommodated this (since we happen to have a sleeping sofa in the living room) and added towels for a fourth guest, told you how to turn the sofa into a bed and informed you there was a mattress you could use to make the sofa comfortable.
You see fit to rate us with 4 out of 5 because the Icelandic summer nights are so bright you can't easily sleep on the sofa in the living room. That is not a place we expect anyone to sleep, but you requested this. A grade of 4 is unfair considering we were responsive, quick, and went out of our way to meet your needs. Our current grade of 4.9 should be a clue that we serve our guests well, as we did you.
Giving a review where you complain that sleeping in the living room is not nice seems unfair because nobody was meant to sleep there.

Very Nice Apartment

Not sure what caused it and it may be totally unrelated to the apartment, but the bathroom was a bit musty and the pillow on my bed could have been made from feathers. As a friendly suggestion, a couple of new pillows and a small coffee pot would have allowed me to give your place a top-notch rating! The location is terrific.

Dear David.
We sincerely hope your allergies were not caused by our apartment. We have not had that comment ever before. The pillows do not contain feathers or down of any kind, especially to avoid allergies. Both the beds were professionally cleaned less than a week ago, so that should not be the cause either. We will certainly look into this.
There is a French Press coffee maker in the apartment (there was one last week). Would you prefer something different? We do want to know what our guests require for their stay to be pleasant. Is there anything else we can improve on?
We are not sure what you mean regarding the bathroom being musty but we will look into that.
