Felt very unsafe in the area. My room is in very poor condition, looks like it has not been lived in or completed cleaned or stocked. The bottom of the sink leaks. There are flies and mosquitoes everywhere. The worst part is there is no insulation around the window, so we heard everything that’s happening down the street. The noise didn’t die down until 3 a.m. and the car horn started at 5 a.m. Very disappointing with our stay!

Comfortable modern-ish bedroom. The only complaint is the shower drain is somewhat smelly. The staff cannot communicate in English, unlike what it's stated on the ad. However, the front desk staffs are really helpful. The room cleaning is sometimes a hit and miss. There was once the cleaner threw away all the soaps (opened and unopened) and not replenish. I had to contact the front desk over and over (which they kindly helped) to get some soaps. The elevator broke down twice during my four nights stay. The breakfast is almost the same everyday but they are quite good: sausages, omelette, bread with spreads provided, various cakes, strawberry yogurt, biscuit, banana, melon/pineapple, papaya, granola, cereal, hot milk, teas and coffee. The area is quite good as well. It is 15 mins walk away from the nearest metro station and two VLT (tram) station. You can see policemen are around the area occasionally. However, at night can be quite noisy. Overall, I am really impressed with the value of money offered by this hotel. I would easily recommend them to anyone.

A little racist

I love the place, what I do not like is how people of color are treated. The front desk lady "Alexanderia"... Ask me what room I was staying in... Very rude.... I have been staying here for a week. They only ask if you are black I feel like. .

Hotel muito bom e bem localizado, café da manhã impecável e o quarto também. Minha única sugestão é colocarem uma luz no espelho maior do quarto (ao lado do armário) e também melhorar o wifi (não sei se foi azar meu, mas não funcionou) Funcionários simpáticos e prestativos e não tenho nada a reclamar!! Melhor do que eu esperava!

Reservei o hotel devido a sua localização, perto do Sacadura 154 onde eu iria num show. Fazia muitos anos que eu não ia nesse local e está bem melhor do que eu me lembrava devido a revitalização da área no entorno. É um hotel sem luxos e a decoração dos quartos é bem antiga e algo desgastada, mas cumpriu muito bem ao meu propósito, que era um local para me arrumar antes do show e dormir. Apesar da rua ter bares/boates que funcionam até de manhã, tive uma excelente noite de sono. Fiquei no ap 208 e não estava barulhento. Imagino que os aps na frente do hotel e portanto de frente pra Rua Sacadura e seus bares sejam bem barulhentos, o meu era mais no meio do hotel. Possui estacionamento gratuito, o que é um super plus, mas eu usei o VLT para chegar no hotel. A Parada dos Muses é a uma curta distância e achei bem tranquilo ir e vir a pé. O café da manhã é bem simples, com pouca variedade e numa sala pequena, mas foi ok. Pedi jantar no quarto e a comida estava boa e bem servida. No geral, foi uma ótima hospedagem e superou minhas expectativas. Me hospedaria novamente no hotel. Achei a área bem melhor e infinitamente mais limpa e segura do que a Lapa.

Sobre o bairro: mais para o lado do bafo da prainha, museu do amanhã, praça mauá é mais tranquilo, tem mais movimento de pessoas. Ja pro outro lado da rua do hotel (lado que é mão do carro passar) não aconselho andar sozinho, se possivel pegue uber se tiver que ir pra esse lado. Sobre a estrutura do hotel: da pra ver que é antigo, falta um reforma/repaginada mas no geral é bom! o elevador da um pouco de medo mas é seguro kkkk Os corredores sao escuros, acredito que miraram no aconchego mas esqueceram que o corredor e o hall de entrada precisam de luzes claras/funcionais. Falta também uma área externa dentro do hotel, pra fumantes ou que seja pra ficar do lado do fora mas em segurança. Pegamos um quarto de 4 lugares. O quarto que ficamos era bem comprido e um pouco estreito na frente das 2 primeiras camas, as ultimas 2 camas tinham mais espaço na frente, e da pra passar uma mala pequena de boa. No nosso quarto tinha uma janela de peitoril bem alto (mais de 1,50m) que não dava pra lugar nenhum e não tinha nenhuma ventilação por ali, mas graças a Deus tinha ar condicionado (que gela pra caramba e é muito bom, porém a pilha tava bem ruim). Banheiro bem grande, mas falta uma segunda pia; por ser quarto quádruplo. A ducha/chuveiro é muuuito bommm! Nossa que delicia tomar banho!! Funcionários do hotel super legais, atenciosos e pacientes kkk! Apenas faltou pouco de cuidado com trocar as toalhas, trocar pano de chao do banheiro.

Tivemos um atraso no voo , chegamos no hotel hiper cansado na madrugada de sexta para sábado 1:50 , fizemos o checkin por conta da solicitação, mais minha vontade era tomar um banho e descansar, mais infelizmente nós colocaram na suíte 202 , a pior do hotel , barulho infernal, parecia que havia uma boate dentro do quarto , ao amanhecer , solicitei a mudança pra outro quarto ( o chuveiro a experiência não foi boa , não funcionou água quente e tb a hidromassagem não funcionou !
