Welcome to Cabins in the Clouds!



This beautiful land features five private cabins, this listing is for cabin 2 (Mountain Hideaway Cabin). On the property, you will find a fire pit and a covered gazebo. You will find adventure, local attractions, and a peaceful environment all right outside of your cabin porch! Once inside Mountain Hideaway Cabin, you will find comfort, fun, and relaxation for everyone! Through the front doors, you will find a cozy great room featuring a TV and fireplace, perfect for movie nights with your entire group. Kick back and unwind on the plush sofa, recliner, or rocking chair while flipping through the pages of a new read. In the mornings, sip your first cup of joe at the lovely dining area, or relax on the cabin's large front porch while basking in nature views. In the fully equipped kitchen prepare your group's favorite recipes with all the necessary appliances. All the comforts of home are offered here, including complimentary wireless Internet access, a DVD player, and a private washer/dryer. Right outside of your front door, you will find a large porch facing the peaceful wooded and pond views.



As a hosting family, we strongly believe in making memories wherever you are. That is why we have provided local suggestions so you can enjoy the experience of fully immersing yourself in the local culture. The cabin was very clean, looks fully renovated. The kitchen is small and can comfortably fit 4 people. I would suggest more flatware, glasses and dishes. The family room can only seat 3 people on the couch, I would suggest a couple chairs so that everyone can sit and watch TV. I would also suggest more towels, hand towels and wash cloths. The cabin is in the perfect spot for anyone wanting to hike Cloudland Canyon! We loved the little cabin neighborhood and would definitely stay there again!

We left the place extremely clean. Half way home I received a phobe call and the service that works for the landlord claimed my dog utinated ON THE BED. I fought back and forth for photos. They sent a photo of a dirty sheet that hung on the floor. That definitely isn’t the bed. Second, it was the room my son slept in and he kept thendoor shut because he brought his guns. So they lied about that and wanted to charge me for a new mattress. Lastly,Vrbo never informed the place we stayed at that we would have dog's on the visit. 1 dog is a service dog, so they couldn't charge for him. But they charged us for the second dog. Which was charged from the beginning but the owners group claimed Vrbo never told them. The so-Called Cabins are not really Cabins. They are old homes with fiber on the outside to look like a cabin. Furniture was as old as i am, washing machine didn’t work, dryer didn't dry. Lastly, the owners group claimed we left dog treats everywhere but when I explained that any dog treat that was left I threw outbin the new garbage bag. I explained 3 raw hide sticks and 2 half bones is what was in the garbage. And the manager said he viewed picture's of 3 raw hides and 2 half bones "ON THE FLOOR" so the cleaning crew took the bones out of the gabage and placed them on the floor in order to add another cleaning charge. I informed them that i am in law enforcement and will have every Government agency there then following Monday due tobthe illegals working there.

The cabin was nice as well as clean and fairly secluded ! The kitchen was well provisioned, however we did not use it . The bathrooms had all you needed from towels to soaps and shampoos . The host was easy to communicate with by text and phone and they left easy instructions. We enjoyed our stay !

Lovely cabin on the mountain

This was a lovely, clean property and it served our purpose well. Its right off the road on the mountain in like a little clearing with 4 other cabins. The space between the cabins is adequate, but you don't feel like you're by yourself. The kitchen was well-stocked and functional and the managers were responsive.

Cabin in woods

Overall not a bad place had a few problems with cleaning and maintain of cabin. First day arrived and didn't know which cabin was for us. Cabins were numbered but hard to find and no where in our messages could we find what our cabin number was, called the number and they were able to help. Cabin Kitchen has major ant issue, tried to text for help but didn't get any response. Drive going into area of cabins needs improvement, large dips in gravel road. Cabin was lacking binds in a lot of areas such as bed rooms and downstair bath. The down stairs bath one didn't fit the window and left a opening that could be seen in. Coffee maker has broken top making it hard to make coffee without it spilling all over. And right outside the door in kitchen is a active birds nest and the birds try to get you if you go in or out of that door.

One of five cabins

Was not listed as a set of cabins, but very cute and accurate as described.Could use a little more (and updated) cookware.Upstairs bathroom does have a faint small of mildew from somewhere. You can smell it as the exhaust fan is running.

Nice

It was clean, nice, roomy. Very small TV in the living room needs updated. I also thought I would have a better mountain view but I guess I should have researched a bit more as I was just surrounded by trees more than anything. No smoking in the cabins is great but the rule that you can't be a responsible smoker while sitting on the porch is excessive.

Mountain hideaway

This was the perfect location for us. Very quiet and peaceful. Even though there were other visitors in the other cab8ns everyone was respectful of each other and the neighborhood.
