Other Things to Note
Eco-Friendly & Built to Last
Canopy 7 was designed with sustainability in mind, solar-conscious design, thermal mass heating & cooling, and superior insulation. Adventure should feel good, without harming the wild places that make it special.
Unplug, Explore & Leave No Trace
This property is set on 140 private acres of raw, untamed land. Unlike traditional hiking trails, freestyle exploration is encouraged, wander through the trees, stumble upon hidden rock formations, or follow the sound of waterfalls. While adventure is welcome, we ask all guests to respect the land and leave it as they found it.
The Canopy cabin was very clean and wonderful deco (excluding the furniture). The main bedroom had queen size bed, which seemed very small for a queen. I would prefer to have a TV in the main bed room. The couches and dinning chairs are not comfortable to sit on for all period of time. My recommendation would be to update with comfortable furniture. The outdoor furniture was great. It could use larger coffee cups. Future lesson learned - I'd recommend anyone who stays at these Canopy cabins stop at the grocery store before going to the cabin. It is quite a drive back to a grocery store.
Everything about our stay was great! Firepit had wood, hot tub was clean, utilized the grill. Easy to park and find. Felt safe and secure. Distance from popular RRG trailheads was reasonable. Would come back and would recommend!
We LOVED this cabin. It was in pristine condition, the kitchen was well stocked, hot tub was clean and perfect, beds were comfortable. Loved the hammocks, fire pit, deck, grill, literally everything was exactly as described & photographed. It was our favorite place weâve stayed at the gorge. We hope to return soon!!
This little canopy (#7) was super adorable, clean and cozy! Being amongst the trees and all the sounds of the forest made it the perfect spot to take deep breaths and slow down from the daily chaos. The little extra bits of fun (hammocks, record player and games) made it even more special. The hot tub was clean with a great temperature making it the perfect way to unwind after a day of strenuous hiking. The host (Liz) was awesome with communication. Overall great stay and we'd love to come back check it out in the fall with the colors.
This property was amazing! The host provided for so many needs: from 2 different coffee makers to towels by the door for the hot tub.The beds were very comfy and there was even a little yoga area in the loft. Washer and dryer worked great. It was great for a family of 4. Also, its an easy drive to tons of cool trails: natural bridge and Gray's Arch were 2 of our favorites.
The property is just as listed. Pictures and description accurate. Everything was very clean inside and outside upon arrival. Great communication for check in. Good location, about 20 mins from Natural Bridge and Skylift. Grab groceries on the way in, thereâs not a whole lot close. The cabin is close to other cabins so if you want complete seclusion, keep that in mind. It didnât bother us because the cabins on each side of us were vacant during our stay. Beds were comfortable, bedding was clean. The stairs leading up to the loft were small and probably not made for younger children. Furniture was stylish but not super comfy. This wasnât an issue for us though because the weather was nice so we spent a lot of time outside. The hammocks were great for relaxing, the porch great for early morning coffee and reading. We enjoyed the games and record player in the basement. I liked that there were no tvâs in the bedroom, only one in the basement and we hardly used it because the surroundings were so beautiful! The kitchen was clean and has very cute retro looking appliances. Plan for simple meals; there is no oven, only a toaster oven. There is a small stovetop for cooking which worked for quick meals. We cooked on the grill, it doesnât cook very even but it got the job done. It was stocked with very basic spices but I wish I wouldâve brought some of my own. The ones supplied had seized up from moisture and didnât seem super fresh. The basket of snacks and coffee was nice!
Very cool spot. Layout and place is well appointed with really great style. We loved the retro look! Hot tub was very nice to have after long hiking days! Our boys loved the loft area and made it their own. The place is larger than it appeared online.Host was extremely responsive and helpful! Excellent experience! Would not hesitate to book again!
We had a fantastic time at the cabin. They provided everything dishes, towels, coffee, laundry detergent, basic seasonings, shampoo, conditioner, body wash all available for your use during you stay at the cabin. The Wi-Fi was strong the hot tub was the star of the show for sure. We are literally thinking of investing in one for ourselves. The bed in the main bedroom was very comfortable with all the pillows and blankets your heart desires. The air conditioning was on point. Gas grill on the deck was a little small but for the two of us worked fine. Wonderful view to eat at the cute little table in the main area. We would definitely stay again if in the area. On our way home we couldnât stop talking about what a great time we had and how we will always look for a place with a hot tub from now on.
We had a delightful stay. Upon entrenance we realized we had to do a little child proofing but everything was great. Me personally though, Iâd bring the other blue couch stairs for a little more sitting area, a television in between the kitchen and sitting area and put a queen size bed in the lower level. Also, Iâd move the grill by the back door, it was a long walk in the rain, so I cooked everything indoors.
Absolutely loved this anniversary getaway! Property was beautiful, all amenities and more. So peaceful in the midst of the trees and the hot tub added a nice relaxation after a day of hiking. Recommend 20/10, would definitely stay here again. Close to the Gorge as well, short drive. Best host responseâs time weâve ever had staying with Vrbo!
Cute and fun cabin thatâs about 20 minutes away from all the must see attractions and restaurants! The cabin is made for a family of four with great outdoor space.
