Amazing, this place is clean, beautiful updated wonderful!! The beds are superbly comfortable bathrooms are clean and bright and love the fireplace in our room. I would highly recommend this place. The staff is friendly, kind, and helpful. I would definitely come back here!!!

Briar Barn is truly everything ne wants in a hotel stay- custom, fantastic staff, lovely extra ammenities (coffee, pasteries, water, great soaps/lotions). The best part for us was the comfortable bed, nice soaking tub and sitting in front of the fire in our private room on our 17th anniversay!! The entire site is thoughtfully decorated with antiques that intrigue, and the "bones" of Briar Barn remain new and contemporary- so refreshing!!! We will most certainly be back!

Beautiful property. Room was amazing. Slept well……NO BREAKFAST other than cold muffins and lukewarm coffee in the lobby. For the price of the rooms, sit down hot breakfast options should be available. Should have just stayed at a Hampton Inn…..

Very accommodating establishment, our daughter ended up staying overnight with us after a wedding event, and the inn was fully booked but accommodated us with a rollaway for a small charge. Thank you loved the visit

We were very disappointed that the spa was only available by appointment and the restaurant was closed (our misreading of the restaurant). The evening person showed very little interest in assigning a room near rather than far. Said the manager decided the room. Breakfast was average for a deluxe hotel.

External amenities eg pool were not adequate it was extremely small and with children in it with inflatables there was no room left. Needs to either be a children’s pool or adults pool. Not enough space to lay around the pool either. Shame as we chose this hotel thinking we would be Able to chill out and relax but it was not possible. Great food in restaurant. Staff really helpful. Black out blinds in room would have been nice it has Venetian blinds that let light through . TV also did not work

Might be better in a regular room

We arrived after 5 and the check in process was simple but the check in host seemed distracted by the device he was watching, was. In fact each host at check in seemed more attentive to their co-workers than the guests, including talking loudly with one another while guests were lounging in the lobby. But our biggest disappointment was the shower in our accessible room - no standard fixed showerhead and the adjustable one there was aimed straight out when the water was turned on. Was very difficult to position to use and not make the whole bathroom wet. The room was clean, bed was comfortable, but would not stay again due to those factors, as well as lack of ability to have a truly darkened room once the sun rose. The shutters just can’t block enough light.

When I arrived, I had to immediately leave for two reasons: 1. The place reminded me of where my failing mother is dying in hospice, and 2. I received a call from my husband saying I had to come home immediately because our family cat was in the ER and we were going to have to put her down. The staff member at the front desk said there would be no problem getting a refund for my reservation, that he was in a similar situation with someone in his family (very kind). And yet, the manager didn't honor their word and refused to refund me. How heartless do you have to be? Why not provide the refund and secure me as a customer for future stays? Bad business, bad vibes.

Our stay at this inn was truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that no detail had been overlooked. Every corner reflected the owners’ thoughtfulness and passion, from the beautifully curated decor to the warm and welcoming atmosphere that instantly made us feel at home. The design and ambiance were a perfect balance of comfort and charm, showcasing the love and care the owners poured into creating this space. It felt less like a hotel and more like a retreat where every element had a purpose and meaning. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. It exceeded all of our expectations and I will absolutely be returning. For anyone looking for a stay that blends comfort, attention to detail and genuine hospitality, this inn is a perfect choice.
