A Great Birthday Party
Publié le 7 avr. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe Lakeview Lodge was just what we needed for a weekend birthday celebration with a large family group. We needed the large number of bedrooms, and having adequate space on both the main level and lower level was important, since we had cool weather and much of our time was spent indoors. The owner was very accommodating and we had no problems checking in or out. Everyone had a great time.

Great overall experience!

The only small thing we noted: one of the bedrooms is a loft, which may not be ideal for everyone.

great location, lovely home

The only problem we had is that we were asked to report any issues and we were unable to report that neither grill was working. We found the communications system between host and guests extremely awkward. Other than that, we had a great time and would recommend.

Good stay, mediocre experience
Publié le 18 juill. 2023 sur HomeAwayThe place was wonderful. The host was good at getting back to us. The host was not very helpful for local things to do.
Unfortunately since we have left we have had not such a good experience. We were charged for towels that had stains on them (supposedly couldn't get make up stains out?). We have also been charged for breaking a ladder that was already broken when we got there. We were also blamed for burn marks on their deck which was from the neighbours setting off fireworks (they have since retracted that).
All in all its a nice place to stay with a large family but not a great experience since we left

Here at Luxury Vacation Rentals, we pride ourselves not only on having top-notch vacation rental properties, but also thorough examination of the home between stays. Each guest deserves the same great experience from the moment that they check-in to the moment that they check out. We ask that any damages of the home upon arrival are sent to us to avoid guests feeling like they were unjustifiably charged for damages to the home during the stay. We also provide make up towels in each bathroom as well as a fully stocked laundry room available for guests use.

Pleasant stay on the lake
Publié le 5 juill. 2023 sur HomeAwayPlenty of bedrooms. Wish living room larger and more seating. Ample outdoor accommodations for large party. Needs second zone for ac. Basement unusable as at least ten degrees cooler than main living areas. Wi-Fi didn’t work, but we didn’t need it. Overall, very nice place for a family retreat. We enjoyed it.
