Staff was pleasant always. Understand English well. Amenities were sparse. Our room had issues all week with little to no internet. No bar at this site. No parking on site. Pool was broke but was fixed after 2 days. Could have used a bigger coffee pot. Location was great by the beach. Blocks from many breakfast spots and dinner restaurants.

Check-in - Front desk staff was absent at published peak check in time. Lobby wasnt open from front entrance, had to be let in to the lobby to check in by other guests. There was a pile of luggage left by other guests attempting to check in and nobody's rooms were ready. When the front desk attendant finally arrived and checked people in he advised the only rules were check out time was 11 am, the in room safes do not work, lost keys $150 fee, smoking $300 fee and had us sign forms with out going over any of the other house rules your signature agreeed to. Amenities - The website said the pool closed at 9pm. We were not checked in until 445pm, after traveling all day we quickly showered and went to eat. Returning to the hotel about 730pm and looking forward to a dip in the beautiful pool, which was the reason we booked this hotel, and found it was closed for the day. The website says the pool closes at 9pm, the posted signs say the pool closed at 6pm. Services - the wesite says there is breakfast available on site. There is not, there is a restaurant at their sister property down the street which is whwere the staff can be found when bit at this property. Additional - there was a couple in the lobby attempting to check out around 7pm. They said there room accommodations were unacceptable, dark and dirty, and they were unable to reach anyone at this property or the property down the street

-Door looked like it was kicked in(You could see light coming through the door when it was closed). -Bed was worn from years of wear and tear(curved in the middle). -AC worked great. -Walked in to find someone at the front desk vaping. -Door to the bathroom was broken. -Very close to the beach. -May have had bed bugs. -You can tell there was minimal effort in up keep since there were different light bulb warmth colors in one room. -In the bathroom there look like mold on the ceiling(dark fungi or something similar).

The room was clean but really old. No hot water. Called and they told me in half and hour they will fix it, it was never fixed. One of the staff came to our room to offer a change of room and when we got to the front desk they told me all the rooms were taken. Terrible WiFi we couldn’t even watch a movie.

I posted a bad review earlier during a temporary issue that was resolved immediately afterwards, and my experience the second night was nothing short of stellar. I’d like to have the review removed because it no longer reflects my experience (honestly I was ranting to let off steam in a draft and didn’t mean to post it) and am working with Expedia to get the posting taken down. My second night I had no trouble with street noise or light and the staff went above and beyond to make me and my family feel taken care of. They recommended great restaurants walkable in the neighborhood and gave helpful advice on transportation and attractions in the city.

Noisy at night with things buzzing and banging. They have black out curtains because of flashing lights which are hard to keep out even with the shades. No late check out or early check ins. Now the whole lobby is packed with people waiting to check in so we can’t get in even at 4.
