Beach + Ocean Park + Parking

Our private apartment we call `Seahorse of the Sea` is just one block from Ocean Park Beach. Our 2nd floor studio apartment for 2 with 1 Queen bed, full sized futon and 1 full bathroom and fully stocked kitchen. The apartment has been recently remodeled to suit your every need and includes air conditioning, high-speed WiFi and streaming TV. One of only a few buildings in this gated neighborhood, Ocean Park is a tranquil, residential area with many beachfront houses. We provide bathroom amenities, all linens and towels, iron, ironing board and hair dryer, beach chairs, beach towels. At night, enjoy the view from the rooftop. Gated parking is included, and you will have access to the laundry room (shared space on the 8th floor of the building). Self check-in with lockbox is provided for your convenience. You`ll be able to walk to the beach in minutes! Ocean Park is one of the best spots to relax by the beach, be near the city and between Nightlife areas like Isla Verde and Condado. You will be a couple of blocks away from the hip area of Calle Loiza, filled with up and coming restaurants and bars. Uber or taxi anywhere in minutes, or walk to restaurants, bars, coffee shops, mini markets and enjoy the area on foot. You will be staying in a gated neighborhood, which is very safe and tranquil.

Our goal is to provide a seamless vacation. We are nearby and attend to our guests personally.

You will have your own studio apartment on the 2th floor, access to the 8th floor laundry room and gated, unassigned parking for one car.

We are local and only a phone call away.

Ocean Park Beach is a favorite spot for locals in San Juan and gaining popularity among tourists. The young locals like to refer to it as “Ocean”. The wide mile-long beach is framed by a few shaded spots with palm trees along the way, residential condominiums, private residences, vacation rentals, restaurants, and a few boutique hotels, small inns, and guesthouses.
Ocean Park has a very casual, low-key vibe. Even during the high tourist season, you will find the beach to be pretty relaxed and uncrowded. Ocean Park Beach is on the Atlantic Ocean side featuring pretty blues from deep navy blues to aquamarine. The sand is golden, soft, and light.

During the weekday mornings, the scene is relaxed and uncrowded perfect for a relaxing long walk. During the summer months and weekends, it gets much busier. If you dislike crowded spaces, avoid visiting on holiday weekends.

Public transportation is not regular, but you can get an Uber or taxi in minutes. You can walk to restaurants, mini markets, fast foods and enjoy the city. You will be staying at a gated residential area, which is very safe and tranquil.
KASA House Rules and Policies:
Welcome to KASA! We’re excited to host you and want to ensure you have a fantastic stay. Here are a few important guidelines to help make your experience enjoyable and avoid any misunderstandings.

In order receive detailed self-check in instructions, the guest is required to upload a photo government ID of every guest staying at the property as well as phone number and email for each party.
The individual who makes the reservation must be the registered guest, be at least 25 years old. We kindly ask guests to use the property as a vacation rental, adhering to all applicable laws. Only the confirmed number of guests listed in the reservation are allowed in the unit. We kindly as our guests to maintain a peaceful environment, ensuring that noise or disturbances do not disturb nearby property owners. Any disruptive behavior in the unit or common areas may lead to the immediate eviction from the premises, and unfortunately, no refunds will be offered. Guests will also be responsible for any fines incurred due to inappropriate behavior while on the property.
Check-in is available any time after 3 PM, and we kindly ask that you check out by 11 AM. Special arrangements, if possible, may be made in advance by contacting KASA.
We want to maintain a peaceful environment, so parties or events are not permitted unless specifically approved in advance.
For the comfort of all our guests, smoking or vaping products are not allowed in the property. A fee of $500 will be incurred if this policy is not followed.

In the event that you misplace any items, please note the following fees:
$75 for lost keys
$50 for lost or damaged TV remote or AC/FAN remote
$60 for lost or damaged parking remote.
As your host during this short-term stay, we retain the right to cancel a reservation due to unforeseen circumstances. If that happens, we will strive to provide similar accommodation or offer a full refund or credit for a future visit.
Please be aware that our cancellation policy varies based on the booking. You can find the specific terms associated with your reservation on the booking platform used. Refunds will be credited back to the original payment method within ten business days.
If you`ve been approved to bring a pet, an additional $250 damage deposit will apply.
If you do not check in for your reservation, without prior notice, the entire cost of the stay will be charged, and no refunds will be issued.
Regarding utility outages, please note that if they occur due to circumstances beyond our control, we are unable to provide refunds or compensation unless the outage lasts more than 24 hours. In such cases, any compensation will be determined at the host`s discretion. For any issues related to Wi-Fi outages, we will do everything possible to have services restored by the provider, however, we regret that no refunds can be issued.
If guests leave personal items behind, we will make every reasonable effort to return them after contacting the guest. However, if these items remain unclaimed for 30 days, they will become the property of the host, who cannot be held responsible for their condition.
We also want to clarify that no refunds can be granted for shortened stays due to adverse weather, personal emergencies, or other commitments.
Please be aware that KASA cannot accept responsibility for any damages to vehicles parked on the property.
We understand that weather can be a concern when traveling to a tropical island. Our hurricane and storm policy are designed to be clear and fair. Refunds will only be issued if the National Weather Service declares a mandatory evacuation for our location. In such a case, we`ll refund the unused portion of your current booking, or any reservation scheduled to begin during the mandatory evacuation period, starting from the day the order is given. Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds for regular rain or tropical storms, as these are part of the natural climate here. However, we`re happy to work with you to reschedule your cancelled vacation based on our availability.
LIABILITY WAIVER: KASA Vacation Rentals is not liable for any lost, stolen, or damaged personal items that belong to guests. This includes losses from natural events such as floods, storms, or other `Acts of Nature.` Additionally, for incidents like fire, water issues, power outages beyond our control, or disruptions caused by service providers, KASA cannot be held responsible for any additional costs or losses incurred by the guest.
To ensure a pleasant stay for all, it`s essential to adhere to these guidelines, along with property and public health regulations. Noncompliance may result in early termination of the reservation without a refund. Guests agree to cover any reasonable costs, including attorney fees, incurred by the owner in enforcing this agreement.

Anniversary getaway

We had a wonderful time here at Ocean Park. The apartment was spotless, bed firm and VERY comfortable. The beach is walking distance and so is the Isla Verde Beach which is one of our favorites from previous visits. What we really enjoyed was the privacy and safety of the neighborhood of Ocean Park. We met a few of the neighbors and they were very friendly and helpful. just a few blocks away you have access to many restaurants and shops.

Great stay, creepy building.

The building was a old and creepy looking. The dim lighting in the hallways didn’t help. All in all the stay was pleasant, although the AC unit made my allergies act up. It probably needs a filter replaced. A lizard also got into our room which was annoying to remove. The windows could use a screen to help with that imo. If the AC wasn’t an issue for my allergies then I’d stay here again. To clarify, I don’t have allergies acting up in most places I visit so this was a notable experience because of that.

This is a great apartment. I come to PR often and always try to stay in Ocean Park neighborhood. The apartment is very clean, well-equipped. Check-in was a snap. The property manager was very responsive. The only constructive criticism is that the A/C unit is noisy and it takes a bit to get used to it. Other than that, I highly recommend this property.

Near the beach!

While the condo does not have views, it is so close to the beach, you’ll walk there every day. Getting into the complex late at night was tricky. There are gates that are locked upon nightfall. You need to navigate around them. The condo is quiet. The neighborhood is quiet and folks are very kind and helpful. As for the condo, the size is good for two. The bed is hard, so good for back or belly sleepers. The kitchen had all we needed, but we did not cook. Great Italian restaurant on McCleary near Walgreens. Do try it!

Ocean Park

Great place great location security is good. Is very cozy, closed to eateries and stores, we visited family in our stay so coming to a nice apartment to rest and recharge was excellent for us. Walking distance from the beach 💕Communication was great always available if questions or needs. Thanks for having us it was awesome

Picture is deceiving

Property is located at the far end of gated community. Beach access is several hundred yards away due to beach erosion. The room is ok but the building overall is pretty dingy and old and feels like you are in a low income housing complex. You need to use a key 3 times each time you enter the unit.... front gate, building entrance and unit door. Between that and the tiny and smelly elevator its kind of a pain to go in and out.

We loved the condo and it was perfect for what we wanted. Beach is a short walk, there's restaurants close, cleanliness was 10/10. There is a gate to the beach very close to the complex so this is great during the day, however, at night I would recommend driving because they lock all gates but the main entrance and you have to walk around.
