OUR PROPERTY IS A CORNER APARTMENT ON THE 11TH FLOOR OF THE MARBELLA DEL CARIBE EAST TOWER. IT WAS TOTALLY RENOVATED IN A MODERN STYLE, FINISHED ON MARCH 2021. THE APARTMENT HAS AN L SHAPE, WITH ISLA VERDE BEACH VIEWS FROM THE LIVING AREA AND CITY, LAGOON AND MOUNTAIN VIEWS FROM THE BEDROOMS. YOU CAN SEE AL THE WAY TO THE EL YUNQUE RAINFOREST, FROM THE BEDROOMS. THE APARTMENT HAS A NEWLY DONE FULLY EQUIPPED KITCHEN WITH WHITE QUARTZ COUNTERTOPS. IT HAS NEW FLOORS, BATHROOMS AND FURNITURE. IT'S INTERIOR DESIGN IS VERY MODERN, IN THE WHITE AND GREY HUES, WITH SOME BLUE AND YELLOW ACCENTS. THE APARTMENT COMES WITH AN ASSIGNED PARKING SPACE, VERY CLOSE TO THE ELEVATOR ACCESS. THERE IS 24/7 SECURITY IN THIS BUILDING. THE BUILDING HAS A LARGE POOL, A BASKETBALL COURT, BBQ AND GAZEBO AREAS, AND CHILDREN'S PLAYGROUND. THE BALCONY WAS RECENTLY OPENED WITH NEW DOORS, THOSE PHOTOS ARE PENDING, BUT THE ENCLOSURES ARE GONE AND THE APARTMENT HAS A SEPARATE BALCONY NOW.

Beautiful apartment, very clean and awesome view of the beach. However, there was a long standing water issue in Isla Verde with water rationing which made staying in the apartment impossible due to the very limited time periods that there was water. The host was very nice and provided another apartment nearby that was also ver clean and spacious but did not have a view.

The listing title, reviews, and pictures were all unreliable.The listing states "newly renovated", but the description says the condo was renovated in 2021. All aspects of the condo do not appear new other than the floor. Fixtures and appliances are worn, paint is chipping off doors, and the couch is uncomfortable & in only fair condition.We found there was absolutely nothing in the kitchen other than dishes. No salt/pepper, no dishwasher pods, no paper towel, no cooking spray, etc. We did not expect a fully stocked kitchen, but every rental we've ever had, has those basic supplies. In addition there were only 4 forks and 4-5 teaspoons.The bathrooms are very basic and worn. You cannot flush toilet paper in the master toilet. We had 4 rolls of TP for 6 adults for 6 days.We thought being near the airport was a positive and had read reviews either for this condo or a nearby one that stated you cannot hear the planes. You can absolutely hear the planes inside with windows shut. And the street noise is unreal! Being more than 10 floors up; we could not believe how loud the traffic noise was, but after 10:00 pm we also had bar noise from across the street. Even with earplugs in, I could hear bar noise. Also, the AC unit is obnoxiously loud.The condo was clean, & there were plenty of beach/bath towels, beach chairs, and has a beautiful view from all windows. The owner did drop off a few supplies upon request.I do not recommend this rental.

The beach is right there! It’s lovely with soft sand. The water can be a little rough some days but always swimmable. Don’t wear anything you aren’t willing to lose into the water because it will take it. Annie and Jorge were very responsive. We didn’t see the sign to not flush toilet paper and water backed up. A plumber was there very quickly and a housekeeper cleaned up the same afternoon. The building is quiet. The pool is very nice, not too busy. The only mild complaint is you need a key to get through several sections of the compound which was just annoying more than anything.

Fell short for our family...

We had really high hopes for this rental due to the pictures advertised and the price. The entry way, kitchen, living room and balcony were good- they looked like the pics. The bedrooms and bathrooms could use cosmetic updates- the bathrooms in particular could use some TLC. There were small ants in the kitchen that were mostly controlled by ant traps we got from Walgreens across the street. Past reviews have complained about noise level at night but we didn't really have that issue. The location was great- direct access to the beach. We found it odd there wasn't things like a spatula or salt/pepper in the kitchen. Usually previous people will leave stuff for future renters but the place was quite bare. We had to buy toilet paper (because we ran out) and paper towels (there was none). We also felt that the cleaning crew rushed because the floors and bathrooms were a bit dirty. The biggest issue for us was the cockroaches. At first we noticed two small ones in the kitchen but then within two days they were also in the bathroom and we found one in the bedroom. We did not stay at the property the last night due to this. We were worried about a possible cockroach infestation. The owner stated they do regularly exterminate.... but this was not something we could deal with so we left early.

Great location and value

Our family of 5 including three teenagers stayed for 6 nights and enjoyed the location and condo. We found it centrally located to explore old San Juan to the west and Fajardo to the south. Condo was clean and comfortable. It’s an urban area so expect loud outside noise on weekend nights especially but we slept just fine. The pool, BB court and beach access are great. Building is very secure. Many restaurants close by and parking was convenient. Super market also close by. The plumbing in the master bath toilet and other bathroom shower drainage is not ideal but we dealt with it just fine. It’s not an owner issue —they are very responsive—it is a building issue. We would highly recommend this place.

Excellent property

The location was excellent for our stay. Perfect for the beach and lots of things to do within walking distance. The owners were good to work with. We only had one issue with a tripped breaker but we had to many things going at the same time. Very quick response and easy to work with. You will not be disappointed with this propoerty.

Checkin process was seamless. Even with the power outage communication with the host was great and were able to accommodate. They also included so many things to do while in town. The guards and security protocol were great and helped me feel safe with 2 teenagers walking around the property. Beautiful view of the beach and mountain, will come back!

Beautiful Place!

We LOVED our stay here. The condo was beautiful and roomie for our family of 6 with three teenagers and a 5 year old. We had everything we needed. Note
the master bed was sooooo comfortable. Walgreens is directly across the street if you need to pick up anything. The view is a million dollar view. Location here is prime. You can walk to everything you need. It’s a short ride to Old San Juan. The property itself is a gated property that can only be accessed with a fab from beach and street. There is also a doorman/security guard downstairs 24/7. That’s nice but no need to worry, this area is very safe. We walked around everywhere and didn’t worry once. The people of Puerto Rico are some of the nicest people you will ever meet! Highly recommend this condo, you won’t be disappointed. Can’t wait to go back!

The location is superb. The building itself and the property are well maintained. The apartment however is slightly dated.The leather couch needs replacing as it has no spring left in it. The dining room chairs are fragile and the sheets do not stay over the mattress as they are slightly worn out.The beds are very comfortable and again location location location. I did reach out to the manager of the location who never responded to my enquiries.

What a week?!

I brought my father to Puerto Rico on his farewell to PR trip. With his quickly progressing dementia I needed a safe place for him while we visited his family. The apartment was nice however we did experience issues with the AC. The vents were all dirty and maybe contributing to some of the issues we experienced on our last night especially, it got up to 82 degrees inside. Everything was just as the photos suggested. Just be prepared for the lack of AC in the lobby, elevator and hallways. Outside noise makes its way even being on the 11th floor. Seeing other apartment doors with bars was a little unnerving as well. And not a fan of not being able to discard used toilet tissue down the toilet. Overall, I felt safe and the apartment met our needs for our short stay.

Love the place, the views and amenities were great. Only thing I would change is the door. The door would get jammed and we would have to pry our way out. Not sure of there is paint and when its hot the door expanded. But, we would have to use tools to get out or use the gated door instead.

Amazing View

Spectacular view, great location. Walking distance from restaurants, and shops. Close Drive from Airport and Old San Juan. Pool and Beach are right outside very secure building. Due to humidity door to hallway did get stuck, maintenance responded right away. The AC in the living area did not work well. AC in bedrooms were great, sleepy arrangements very comfortable, overall condo was very spacious and comfortable. We had a great time.

Six Adults Getaway

Overall, the unit is okay and would be much better with a few cosmetic updates. It's very convenient to almost everything and not too far from San Juan. When we arrived, the unit was very hot, and there was water, (condensation, I guess, but not sure) small puddles on the floor in the entry hallway to the living and kitchen area. The property mgr responded after I reached out and asked if I wanted her to send up maintenance. We used large towels to remove the water. I would propose or recommend the property mgr ensure the unit's air conditioner is on prior to the next renter so that they don't walk into a hot, wet mess. The door for the unit does not lock. It was open when we arrived, which I thought was weird, but okay. The management company knew there was a known issue with the door. When I reached out, the property manager said to leave the door like it was when we arrived (open). She stated that they have been trying to get an open week to install the new door. I would suggest that you block out a few days to get the door replaced so that renters will feel safe. Sinks drain slow in bathrooms, make a roaring noise if turned one direction. Clean vents especially hall bath. Cleaners should clean out the mop and broom or get a new one. There is hair in the corners and other areas of the floor. The floor was clean, but hair was visible. Blinds should be replaced. Replace the filter in AC unit, stove (knobs) missing levels, I would recommend getting heat resistant labels

Amazing place! A few things to note.

This was a great place to stay in Puerto Rico. You cannot beat the view from the balcony. It was the greatest view I have ever seen. We loved sitting out there in the mornings while drinking our coffee. The complex is also just steps from the beach and it was very easy to access it through the courtyard. The owner was kind, helpful, and made things very easy for us. The living area and kitchen look amazing and contain everything you would expect in a rental apartment. They even had a blender we used to make homemade pina coladas. The air conditioners worked great and there was a nice cross wind that came from the ocean so we didn't even have to use them most of the time. There are few small things to note. First, as others have mentioned, the street noise is loud on some nights. Parties and very loud motorcycles/cars seem to be the culprit. Second, some of the items in the bedrooms and hallway are a little run down (doors need painted or replaced, blinds need replaced, etc.) Lastly, the building does have older plumbing so you cannot flush toilet paper. Everything has to go in the trash or you will be fined. We thought this was an amazing place for the price we paid. We chose to stay here with friends instead of getting separate hotel rooms and we were glad we did.

Our condo was absolutely breath taking! The view looked photoshopped it was so stunning. The beds were comfortable and the entire place felt like a home away from home. The condo had everything we needed to make breakfast every morning and we even made dinner a couple of nights. The host sent us a lot of information about places and restaurants to visit in the area which was extremely helpful. We will definitely be returning to this condo in the future. If you’re considering visiting Puerto Rico this is the place to stay!

Confortable Family Apartment

Nice 3 bedroom 2 bath apartment in the center of Isla Verde tourist zone. Impressive views to the beach from the living room and balcony, and nice views to the city from the kitchen and dinning room, makes this vrbo rental enjoyable.
