If you are booking through Bookings.com or another rental app, you may not fully realize what Outsite is - a guest house designed for co-working/living, and not some sort of B&b, etc. this means there is no housekeeping, no pool, no gym, no staffer on site to ask for extra towels or directions, stow your bags if you arrive early or late (you can keep them in the common area, which is perfectly safe, but not everyone will feel cool with that option). Itâs not a place to rest in your luxurious room overlooking the ocean, though there is one room where you could do that. The rest are fairly small and have no windows/views. It was ok, just not ideal at all. The only thing that was actually hard for me is there is no coffee in the room, and the coffee maker in the common area is an old Mr Coffee. Any coffee place is at least a 15 walk in morning. (I gotta have it before I deal with people, but if thatâs not you, youâre fine!)
Itâs not a bad place for what it is, but if youâre not a digital nomad looking for impromptu housemates to pal around with in the evening, youâre not going to have an amazing time at Outsite. Further, the one digital nomad type I did meet here said this was not his favorite Outsite location because there were more tourists on vacation, which also kind of kills the vibe for him.
Outsite: market exclusively to your target guest, otherwise you disappoint everyone.
On the positive side Ocean Park Beach is a 5 min walk and the deck upstairs has a lovely view.
