-We did not like that the swimming pools closed at 6 P.M. They should at least stayed opened until 8 or 9 P.M. -The pillows must be replaced. Once one puts his/her head down, the pillows sink all the way donw to the mattress. -There should be soap and shampoo at the showers where the guests that are checking out go to after exiting the sea.

Every room has an amazing view. Staff is extremely friendly and attentive. Breakfast is good and the pools and beach area are amazing. The gated beach loungers mean you can get the beach rays and hotel wait service while still running out to dip in the ocean. We enjoyed po drinks and the rooftop bar. The cleaning staff does an amazing job in the rooms. It’s easy to get to Santa Marta’s historic center and it’s walkable to Zazue for a relaxing dinner (go to Cinto it’s the best!). Special appreciation to one server - Maribel. Maribel always had a smile, was quick with the coffee, and even served the beach lounging guests. She was friendly, approachable, and always ready to help. Really appreciated Maribel remembering us after our first breakfast and making sure we were well attended to afterward. If you go look for Maribel!

Property itself is in great shape and new. The service is terrible in every department. Staff needs better, extensive training and good management is required before I can rate this higher than a 3 star. I was warned about the service from a friend, but I wanted to give it a shot. Lack of employees, lack of professionalism, and overall a disorganized staff with little communication hurt this rating badly.
