Overall, not a bad property, but I think there could be some improvements and updating, especially with the pictures. Although the property doesn't claim to be on the lake, the pictures are definitely misleading, as the lake is across a major road. We did walk down there and stayed for a few minutes. The condition was not very good and the dock is merely moments from falling into the lake. There were also remnants and bottles/cans from previous renters still there. Inside the house, the first thing we noticed was the entire wall of windows facing the lake was no longer an entire wall of windows but 2 sliding doors now. They must have changed this and never bothered to update the photos, thus removing a big portion of the view. This was disappointing to us, as the pictures of that view is partly what sold us. The entire property could use some fixing up. The decks, stairs, outdoor chairs, picnic table, etc are in very poor shape and we ended up not enjoying any part of this section of the rental. Inside was clean and adequate, although there's definitely a mildew/mold problem somewhere as it was noticeable by all as soon as we entered the home. We had a garbage bag in the kitchen garbage, but with 8 renters, it filled up after a few days and we couldn't find any other bags. I reached out to the owner/contact only to find out that the number provided by Evolve and VRBO was not to the actual owner/contact.
