I had a wonderful stay! The hotel was very clean, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The location is beautiful — just steps away from the ocean. I’m already looking forward to going back. Highly recommend!

Loved the thoughtful and practical black face cloth for makeup removal. Great location no elevator but staff were ready to help. Great access to boardwalk, shower head could be improved. Small but workable unit for 2.

Loved staying here! The employees were awesome! The free breakfast was good. You cannot beat the walkable shopping. Everything closed early around here which initially I was caught off guard but that made it quiet and pleasant so I didn’t mind. Would stay here again!

A perfect place to stay before the ferry next day

Right on the main restaurant and shopping area. Made to feel very welcome. We arrived on a Thursday which was perfect timing due to the street market from 4:30 to 9:30. Beacon Street is closed off and local food, produce, jewellery….etc set up stalls. The hotel provides a continental breakfast from 06:30 to 10:30. A great place to stay before returning to the mainland on the ferry. The ferry is only 10-15 mins away. Two minutes away from the pier.

Disappointed

We didn't care for this hotel at all. After spending a week at various air bbs touring beautiful Vancouver and Vancouver Island, this hotel was nothing short of a huge disappointment for our last night. The staff was extremely unfriendly, and the room was small with a view of a wall and an ugly roof, certainly not a city view as advertised. We will definitely not be staying here again. We also heard airplanes all night long.

Absolutely loved this place! Amazing views and location. We could spend a week here and never need to use a car. Sea Glass Beach was a treasure, and the pier, shopping and aquarium within easy walking distance made it popular with the kids. Breakfast was delicious and the restaurants surrounding the hotel were great too. We will definitely be going back next time we are in Sidney!
