This charming three bedroom Colonial is within walking distance or bike ride to magical Skaneateles downtown. Walk or Bike to lakefront, restaurants, shops, parks, and much more! Across the street from beautiful playground and just a few minutes walk from an amazing park with walking trails, workout equipment, tennis/pickleball courts, sports fields and more.
The home has hardwood floors throughout. The high end kitchen with 6 burner and griddle stove top is perfect for preparing meals or hosting guests. A large granite island opens to family room with gas fireplace. Eat family meals in the formal dining room, or relax having take out at the kitchen island.
Accommodations upstairs do not disappoint. The premier suite boasts a new bathroom with double vanity and laundry room and a new king size bed. The 2 other bedrooms upstairs are large and include a new queen bed in room one and a new full bed in room 2. *NOTE* The couch in living room converts to a futon bed- because of how VRBO structures web listing, the listing says “bedroom 4” but there are only 3 bedrooms.
Use the grill and enjoy a meal on the patio out back or enjoy a glass of wine and watch the sunset in the beautiful backyard.

Wonderful place for Family

We just got done with a wonderful stay at this place. The neighborhood was quitet and peaceful and the location was ideal. The house has a great layout letting the kids play in one room while the adults visit in the other. We hope we can stay here longer next time.

Girls getaway

We loved our stay at Alison's lovely house!! It was a perfect setup for exploring the area and relaxing afterwards. The kitchen was the most tricked out any of us had ever seen in a rental! Amazing Sunmer Getaway

My husband and I spent a week at this beautifully decorated and well appointed home. The neighborhood is quiet and just a minute outside of the village. Wonderful experience and can’t wait to visit again.

Darling House, Responsive Host

This house is charming and has all the features you’d hope for. The kitchen is very well appointed and the dining room comfortable. Our long weekend stay was enjoyable and memorable. When a small problem arose, our host was responsive and gracious. You can’t ask for anything more!

Beautiful home in Skaneateles

We had a wonderful stay in Skaneateles. This historic home is beautifully restored, spotlessly clean and well appointed. There is a very pretty, large backyard with outdoor seating, and the location is excellent - close to the town, but on a very quiet street. The host was very responsive and considerate. We look forward to staying here again in the future!

Great Stay in Skaneateles

My family and I had a really nice time staying here. The house was well maintained and the kids (ages 1-7) loved the backyard. There is a large playground across the street that we went to several time as well. I would say the house is very family friendly and great for a small group. We could tell that the property wasn't the typical bare bones, Ikea furniture throughout, type of place. Beds and couches were comfortable as was the outside seating. I absolutely recommend staying at this wonderful property.

Wonderful Home!

Our family really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home right outside of the village in Skaneateles. We have family that live in the village so we were just a short drive or about a 20 minute walk from them. The home is gorgeous and all the furniture looks brand new, just as the pictures show. The master bath was so nice and has a large oversized shower. The other bedrooms are surprisingly quite large. The owner did a great job decorating and she was so easy to work with. I highly recommend this home and we will be back in the future!

Stunning character-filled vacation home

This property is absolutely fantastic. The historic charm of the area is delightful, and this home is a perfect blend of architectural charm and modern updates for comfortable living. The original wood floors are so beautiful, and the furnishings are all lovely and well-considered. We stayed here with family and two children for a wedding in the area and couldn’t have been more pleased. The space is very comfortable, the beds and pillows very comfortable, and communications with Alison were fab. Don’t miss the deck outside especially in the early morning and around sunset. The kitchen also has everything you need, sometimes rental properties are missing some kitchen items but this home has everything. Highly recommend!

Magnificent Place!

We booked this charming and delightful 3-bedroom home with parking for a family weekend, and it was the perfect place! The home is beautiful, comfortable, and it is well-equipped in all respects. It includes parking, and a nice back patio. The kitchen is spacious, with a great stove, and all the necessary appliances. The dinning and living rooms are very pleasant, with easy access to the kitchen. All three bedroom are upstairs, along with two full bathrooms (there is a half-bathroom on the main floor). The house allows for easy flow to and from all areas on the main floor, and it truly feels like a home. We all felt at ease in the spaces, which was essential to us, as we got family members together for the first time in several years. Beautifully Remodeled Home in Quiet Neighborhood

I had to make a quick decision in renting a house for a family emergency, and I'm so happy we chose Alison's. It was exceptionally clean, and it had every amenity one could ask for in a rental home. It was spacious enough for our group of 7 adults and one toddler to spread out and relax. We enjoyed spending time on the deck each morning. Alison responded promptly to all my inquiries. Perfect Finger Lakes getaway stay

Extremely, clean, comfortable and spacious place to stay for a long weekend getaway in the Finger Lakes. Perfect Fall Gathering

Spending time with my daughters is always fun but throw in perfect weather and a lovely home in Skaneateles, now that is perfection! We spent time on the deck in the morning drinking coffee. Making our fall sausage and white bean soup in a roasted pumpkin in the gourmet kitchen was more satisfying than usual. The walk into the village was easy and beautiful. Comfortable beds are a necessity in a rental and all 3 beds were nice. To take the chill off in the evening, the gas fireplace created a cozy atmosphere. It was a magical weekend for us. I am looking forward to staying in this home on my next trip north.
