My husband and I stayed at the cottage during a brief trip back to the area where we met 10 years ago. The cottage was beautifully decorated and well stocked for our needs. Our stay was quiet and relaxing in this peaceful setting. The host’s extra touches, like fresh flowers and bread from a local bakery made our stay even more special. We loved our time there, and would definitely go back again!

This property met all our needs 
 close to town and less than an hour ride to Syracuse University. We enjoyed hiking at Treman State Park. Also, boat ride and eateries in Skaneateles lake area. We were welcomed in cottage with a personal note , flowers and fresh bread.

Clean, beautiful hospitality

The place was SPOTLESS! It's very cute and was perfect for a little mommy-daughter night. Nice view and a quiet area for a walk. I mentioned to our hosts that my daughter loves croissants and they went out of their way to get her some from their favorite bakery. They also shared a list of nearby hikes and restaurants so I didnt have to spend a bunch of time googling around. The hosts made our little evening away so easy and lovely! Thank you!

Very nice one-night stay

We wanted to visit Skaneateles and then stay overnight. Ellen was great about giving us information for our visit and information to access the cottage. The cottage was comfortable and peaceful and just a short ride from the town of Skaneateles. The bed was super comfy. Enjoyed our brief stay.

Peaceful Retreat

This property is so cute and peaceful! It was well stocked, had some personal touches to make us feel welcome, and was incredibly clean. The views of the lake were beautiful. The bonus for us was being able to watch the two gorgeous horses in the field on the hill.Ellen was a great host and provided prompt communication. We would definitely recommend this property!

We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay! The location was absolutely perfect—just a short drive from the music venue where our favorite band was playing, which made the whole experience even more special. The place itself was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed to feel right at home.The landlord was fantastic—so welcoming, responsive, and thoughtful. You can really tell they care about making sure guests have a great stay. From the moment we arrived, everything was smooth and stress-free.Highly recommend to anyone looking for a convenient, comfortable, and friendly place to stay!

Okay for a one night stay.

The interior was fine, with an adequately stocked kitchen. As you enter the property, you have to go up a flight of stairs to reach the apartment. The setting is rural, but we were disappointed to find there was no outdoor seating area and no clear view of the lake. The property was clean and the owner clearly communicated directions and check in procedures. Incidentally, there was an unpleasant smell as we walked into the property, but the upstairs living area was not affected. We informed the owner about the smell.

Perfect Stay!

This is the easiest and is the easiest VRBO renter I’ve ever encountered. Ive used the VRBO app for multiple stays in different locations and this one was perfect. Ellen was an amazing host that went above and beyond to make our stay rememberable and enjoyable. The attention to detail that is put into the rental is amazing. Ellen has thought of everything and the house was spotless. Beautiful views and detailed instructions on anything you might be looking for locally. We loved our stay and our only regret was that we didn’t make it a longer stay. I can’t say enough good things about this rental or the owners, except if you’re going to go to Skaneateles, this is the best place to stay. This was a 10 out of 10 stay.

Cozy space overlooking Otisco Lake

Ellen and Adam were wonderful hosts. It was my husband's birthday weekend, and they surprised us with a nice focaccia bread, cupcakes from a local bakery, and birthday candles to boot!! The view from the 2nd floor space is reminiscent of a Finger Lakes winery overlooking Otisco Lake and surrounding rolling hills so typical of this area--So nice!!
