A popular Balcony Suite Plus on the 4th Floor, this condo is thoughtfully appointed. Enjoy the ocean view while you relax and enjoy a meal on your balcony table. A comfortable Queen sized sleeper sofa with a memory foam mattress is the perfect spot to catch the ocean breeze from the ceiling fan or the view of the 37" Flat Screen TV. Mirrored walls reflect extra ocean views throughout. The kitchen has extra counter space and provides a two burner stove top and convection microwave oven. The glass top table in the living room is great to have a family meal. The bathroom was remodeled with new tub, tiled walls, and vanity. The bedroom is colorful and warm with hardwood floors, a memory foam King mattress, ceiling fan and a 32" flat screen TV. This 4th floor condo is a favorite among many guests, especially because it will allow a pet. SMALL PETS ARE ALLOWED. TWO PETS MAX. $75 PER PET. NON-REFUNDABLE. Minimum age to rent is 21 years old

Nice view


No doubt a great location and good for those traveling with pets. Cons: arrived at check in 30 minutes early and the room was still not ready at the guaranteed time they had said. The “pet relief area” is a tiny sandy piece of land next to the smokers area-If you have a larger dog you will need to walk them next to the road. Good place for a weekend trip- I wouldn’t stay longer.

Winter break

We love staying at Beachers Lodge. It is in a prime area and it is nice and quiet. The unit was very nice. The only problem we have with the units is a 4 cup coffee maker. We spend all morning making pots of coffee. Small complaint for a relaxing week. We will be back next year!

We have stayed at Beacher’s several times. This was by far the best room to date. The view was wonderful and though not any larger than the others it felt more spacious. The last night we noticed ants on the door to the owners closet o reported and I have no doubt it was handled

Overall a great place to stay - beautiful ocean views! The building/room due show some signs of aging - cracks In walls- ceilings starting to chip. Best part is it’s extremely “dog friendly”!

Dog Friendly Fun!

We rented this condo for a quick getaway with our pups. St. Augustine is incredibly dog friendly and very well priced. Check-in was easy enough and we paid for our 2 pups fees easily. They gave us a map and told us where the dog area was. If I have one major complaint, it’s about the dog park area. It is not enclosed and due to being behind the building, down a short access between 2 buildings, it’s very, very easy for another dog to accidentally walk in/up on you. This could easily be remedied by adding a two-step-gate for all your canine an human safety. Plus, at 1 am, who wants to go tromping around with your pet behind the building in possible inclement weather while your pet pops an unsecured squat. — on a secondary note, there is hardly anywhere else on the property to walk your dogs. So, my advice, bring some sacrificial shoes bc not everyone is a responsible owner and mush mountains can be found. But even with the very small dog area, I would 100% book this condo again with dogs. The condo itself looks just like the photos. The view is lovely and it’s right next to the elevator (in a good way!!!) There’s a hall that divides the elevator from the unit so there is virtually no noise. How nice!! Great for midnight puppy potty runs or just general loading and unloading of our stuff. The bed was comfortable and the recliner was heavenly. The couch however could use a good deep clean and some throw pillows because boy are those arms uncomfortable to lean against to watch tv on a rainy afternoon. I was slightly surprised to find absolutely no salt and pepper and only the sparsest of sparse utensils for use. Think one dinner sized plastic handled steak knife as the cutting element and a dinner plate sized cutting board that’s been well loved. Luckily, I brought everything with me but if I hadn’t, I’d have been a little more remised. On the other hand, lots of other fellow STR users do suck and steal from places. So, I can understand the sparsely outfitted kitchen. The balcony is absolutely lovely and a great place to watch the world walk by. Sea breezes blow nicely in through the screen door if you have the AC off. (We visited when the high was in the 60’s) how delightful! The pups loved hanging on the porch and watching the gulls and world go by. At the end of the day, come for the view and just got ahead and book it for yourself

Perfect for two

My husband and I spent two nights and it was absolutely perfect for us. From the sunrise views, to the 60 seconds walk down to the sand, it was wonderful. Clean, kitchen stocked with everything we needed, nice calm neighborhood, and the beach is perfection. Also super cute pub, cafe and ice cream shop are just across the street should you choose to venture out :)

Great view and location

Great view of the beach and right next to elevator. If you have a pet this is the condo you want. Housekeeping furnishes old sheets to cover the furniture if pet likes to get on sofa, call front desk and they will supply the covers. Great beach. Lights out over the table, but fixture had a light that was bad, maintenance came and took pictures said would replace... very fast response. Has 4 mini spotlights in kitchen area, could not find switch, maintenance man could not it either...mystery. Finally, as looking for a drinking glass, found a plug in the cabinet over microwave...besides a couple of quirks a great unit and location. Lot of upkeep going on, all over the facility, very nice shape and clean...they are taking pride in the property.

Condition of unit 427

To begin with we probably had one of the best units as far as closeness to elevator. The balcony was perfect as we like to watch the sunrise (but it was too cloudy that week for good photo memories). The few issues we had was: (1) - the door card didn't work as good as it should have. (2) - the unit was fairly clean; but seems like it was rushed to get ready for us (some light bulbs out, trash between the kitchen counter and the cabinet, and couldn't find a light switch for the light over the sink, all the plates where not dried before being placed in the cabinet). (3) - shower curtain rod needs to be replaced due to rust. Most of these are petty maintenance items that didn't effect the enjoyment of our stay. The door card was reader was the worst part of this review.

Great view

The view at the condo is outstanding, the king bed was very comfortable. The beach is very nice & easy to get to from condo, there are 2 walkovers from building. The one drawback is the condo was not very clean. Luckily I brought cleaning supplies due to COVID so I wiped everything with Lysol wipes. The condo needs a “deep cleaning”. But all in all, it was a good weekend. Would we stay there again? Probably not, for that price, I expect to check in and feel comfortable with the cleanliness of the condo.
