8/10 GoodThe main draw of this house is the location to the beach, publix, restaurants and downtown St. Augustine. The ocean views from both balconies were exceptional. The house itself is in need of TLC. Although we did have some issues, management responded quickly and took action. Had a fun time staying here. Thank you.Lisa B.Stayed 4 nights in May 2026
Such a great home right on the beach! We had 3 families with us and all of us had plenty of space. Great family area around the kitchen/living room. So easy to walk to and from the beach. Host had great communication the whole time. We cooked every night and had everything we needed in the kitchen. Would definitely stay here again!
The main draw of this house is the location, which is great. Being right on the beach, the views were great. The pool was also very nice -- although too cold this time of year to do more than dip ones feet in.The house is large enough for a family to spread out. The furniture and beds were in good condition. It is an easy drive into town. The house itself could use some TLC. There are a lot of areas that could use spackle, paint, or a faceplant screwed in properly. For the most part none of these really affect the quality of a short stay.
The property is well-appointed, and has a beautiful view of the beach from both balconies. We could see the fireworks from St. Augustine which was a plus. The beds are comfy, the bedding is very nice, and itâs a quiet neighborhood. The WiFi worked well, as did the direct TV. The kitchen has everything. The communication with the manager was excellent.
Our host David was very quick responding and helpful when needed. The house was perfect for our large group and everyone enjoyed the view and the spaces. It was in a nice and quiet location away from the busy main part of town, but not a long commute. The kitchen was well equipped, except I couldnât find a teakettle. The only thing different I would have like would be to have dimmer switches on the overhead lights, but Iâm spoiled in that regard. Lol
What a great place to stay! Right on the beach and so close to all the attractions. The house was very clean and well stocked with extra bedding and kitchen supplies - except the 2 slot toaster is way too small for the capacity of the house. The 300/day is misleading. can only use for one free ticket per attraction & only 4 attractions available. Not a deal breaker. I would go back again in a heart beat. The staff is very helpful and responsive.
We traveled with 2 other families, total of 10. 3 eight year olds and 1 six year old. The place is right on the beach, just cross the driveway and over the dune. We had some rough weather when we arrived, for about 24 hours, but the weather cleared out for us. We had some beautiful days on the beach, we just hang with chairs, toys, and umbrellas on the beach all day, that's our groove. Fair warning - this particular beach is drivable, therefore you will be among cars. The beach is very nice, surfers and fisherman alike. Loads of birds to watch as well. We had an incident, completely out of everyone's control, and the property management handled it well and timely. The house is a bit older, but we'll appointed. There are three bedrooms with king size beds, along with two (2 twins) bedrooms. Plenty of room, lovely decks to watch the beach. Pool is small but perfect for dipping and kiddos.
Wonderful views of the beach and ocean!House is a little older but layout is great. Lots of cookware in kitchen. 3rd floor beds are all comfortable.Views from the porches were incredible!
I do not recommend this property or this company. The listing is inaccurate. There are conservation dunes in front of the house so you are unable to access the beach from the house. The internet in the house does not work except if you are sitting right next to the modem. The TVs in all of the bedrooms do not work. The home needs updating. We messaged the management company and our concerns were not addressed except when we decided to leave the property 6 days early. We found a nicer home with actual direct Beach access and moved. Stay away from this property and this management company.
My family of 4 which includes 2 year old and 3 year old boys spent Thursday to Monday at the rental at Vilano beach. David was very welcoming and quick to respond to any questions/concerns. Before the trip, we had planned to take the short drive to Saint Augustine. However, we never made the drive because we had so much fun at the beach, Vilano, and the house. The beach in front of the house is on an inlet. It had a huge tidal pool that was perfect for the boys. The house has a small pool that is perfect after washing off the sand from the beach. Although we didnât visit Saint Augustine, we could see the lighthouse, fort, and historic buildings from the property. The house is very nice with great views. It was big for a family a 4. It could have easily fit 2 more families. There arenât many choices for restaurants in Vilano, but we liked the retro, small beach town feel. We highly recommend the trip. Thank you David.
