This four-bedroom, four-and-a-half-bath home with four king beds will comfortably accommodate up to 14 guests, so bring the whole family!

Why choose between the beach and a pool? Carpe Diem has both! Swim in your own private, screened-in, heated swimming pool or head just 100 steps to the private, friendly beach.

The home contains bed and bath linens, a garden tub, hardwood floors
 great care and attention to detail – it provides a beautiful vacation! We pride ourselves on cleanliness and assure you of an extremely clean and inviting home upon arrival so that you may relax and enjoy your visit! There is a wide variety of amenities, including a freezer, microwave, ice maker, oven, ceiling fans, refrigerator, Wi-Fi access, coffee maker, Keurig, cooking range, televisions, cookware, dishwasher, utensils, washer and dryer, a wet bar, and much more.

The house is two levels, with beautiful landscaping outside and wonderfully decorated on the inside!

One hundred twenty-five steps to the beach from an easy path on one side and a 2-minute walk to the Intracoastal Waterway on the other. This quiet, but hip area of Vilano/North Beach is famous for surfing, paddle boarding, fishing, shark teeth hunting, and much more. You can walk, bike, or drive to many great restaurants within minutes. Our comfortable home is a 5-minute drive to the fun and activity-filled oldest town in America, St. Augustine! The Vilano Beach pier is a 2-minute car drive away (or a 40-minute beach walk), where you'll find a Publix grocery store and a mini outdoor mall. A local post office, bait and gear store, a boat rental facility, gas dock, a local pub, and more restaurants near and on the Intracoastal beach are in the same area. It is a 20-minute drive to the home of the PGA at TPC Sawgrass and a 2.5-hour drive to Disney World.

For an additional $200/week or less, the pool can be heated to a maximum of 84 degrees. Pool heat must be added to your reservation at least 48 hours before arrival. Please note that we do not heat the pool from Memorial Day through mid-September.

Beautiful home. Roomy with plenty of space for everyone. There is also a foosball table that we enjoyed playing in our downtime. Having a bathroom in each room was fantastic. Beds in all the rooms were comfy. Kitchen was well stocked with pans and pots etc for cooking. We used the sofa bed in the sitting area and it was surprisingly comfortable as well. Walk to the beach is very short and a great big beach to enjoy. Communication with owner was quick and informative. Overall great stay and highly recommend.

No Large Pool

I would have loved to give this property all 5 stars. When they put in the description BIG POOL home and the pool is the size of a large hot tub I found that very deceptive. The home itself was lovely and clean with comfortable bedrooms.

Spring Break in Vilano Beach

Good times had by all. The house is as advertised, it is very close to the beach in a nice neighborhood. The house is big enough to allow for separation, one of the bedrooms is up a separate staircase from the other three bedrooms. As mentioned by others, the pool is small but it is perfect for 2 children to play endlessly.The beach was not crowded and great for long walks at sunrise and sunset.We went on a “children friendly” ghost tour, visited several attractions and overall had a great, immersive experience.Pizza at Vinny’s and fried green tomatoes at the Reef are recommended.Both dogs enjoyed many neighborhood walks.Would stay here again.

Great location

This property was spacious and super close to the beach. Bedrooms were a good size and there was plenty of room for everyone. It was in a nice neighborhood. This didn't bother our stay but we believe there may be some electrical issues...lights flickered in the kitchen some and one of my outlets didn't work in the mother in law suite bedroom and the washer had some issues with our first load of laundry. The pics of the pool were a little deceiving. It was pretty small. Overall though, we would definitely stay here again. My family really enjoyed it. The property manager was super helpful and had great communication.

Wonderful vacation!

Everything we needed for a very nice week with family. Short walk to the beach, pool, and plenty of room to move around in the house. The house was clean and that’s always a plus for me. I do need to say that the neighbors were so nice to us, very friendly and helpful. We ask the lady next door about a good place to eat seafood and she sure did! Just a short drive to a place called Aunt Kates, we ate there twice. I would highly recommend staying here to anyone.

Fabulous Beach Oasis

Carpe Diem was such a great place to stay. The house is beautiful, everything worked great, convenient walk to the beach. Cute neighborhood and they had everything we needed. The pool is on the smaller side, but it was perfect for us. We would definitely stay here again!

Great house for a great vacation!

We all loved it! There was lots to do including ocean, pool, shopping and sight-seeing. Good restaurants are plentiful. The house provided an excellent location for everything and was fully equipped with large rooms to make our stay extremely comfortable. We appreciated the recliners in the family room and the large TV. Very nice accommodations!

Spring break

Contact with the property management was outstanding! They returned my messages super fast. Even though it was in a neighbor hood off the beach it took us less time walking to the beach than if we were in a condo on the beach. Easy crossing A1A to beach walkover. No stairs. Beach is not crowded and is a paradise for finding shells. This house is large so you won't be bumping in to each other. Great time with family.

Daughter's Wedding

We rented this house for my daughter's wedding at tge Lightener Museum. My parents and my sisters joined us. The house was perfect with every bedroom having it's own bathroom. The pool was also a hut with my niece and nephews. Would absolutely stay again.
