Downtown dog-friendly 4 bedroom house, walk everywhere, free parking

A beautiful Victorian-style home built in 1915 and completely renovated in 2018. Located two blocks from the St. Augustine historic district with its bars, world-renown restaurants and shopping. 4 bedrooms, 2 new bathrooms, new kitchen. The front porch, complete with rocking chairs, is perfect for relaxing with a glass of wine after a long day of sightseeing. The location is terrific, and the house has all the amenities and toiletries you need. Pet fee is $40 per dog per stay (max of 2 dogs).

This beautiful home has a main level bedroom with the king size bed. There is one bathroom on the main level, which is not attached to the bedroom. The other three bedrooms are located upstairs, along with the second renovated bathroom with a large tiled shower and glass doors. The new kitchen has beautiful white/grey granite countertops, all the cooking utensils you need and also has a full-sized washer/dryer. During the winter, you can enjoy the faux fireplace under the large flat screen TV. The front porch is a wonderful place to chill and talk to the people passing by.

We will only refund the booking for a hurricane threat if an evacuation is ordered in the area by the State of Florida. We experience threats nearly every other week during hurricane season, that rarely amount to anything.

Contracted Covid? That's why you need to purchase insurance. It will cover your booking reimbursement, and we hope you have a speedy recovery.

You'll have sole use of the house. The parking area is shared. There is no usable yard here for hanging out, but you can certainly use the picnic tables/seating and charcoal bbq grills at the property we own behind this house.

We have a wonderful property manager, who is available to answer any questions or provide any missing things. Can't find a corkscrew? Missing facecloths? They're all supposed to be there - just ask and if it's anything we can provide, we will. We want all of our guests to have a five star experience and it all starts by communication! We're also fully available by email or text. It's just that we're traveling too! We strongly suggest purchasing travel insurance in case your plans change.

It's fun to sit outside on weekend nights and hear the music from downtown, but you don't hear it in the house.

We're in a neighborhood called Flagler's Model Land. Most of the houses in the neighborhood were built in the 1800's and some are very charming. Most of the area was originally owned by Henry Flagler, who played an important part of the growth of St. Augustine. Flagler College is also just a couple of blocks away.

We're a few minute walk to The Barley Republic, if you're looking for a drink. The food at The Barley Republic is very Irish and very tasty.

We are less than two blocks from a trolley stop next to the Wax Museum, which most visitors to St. Augustine like to use to explore the city.
Regarding parking, you will have ONE assigned spot behind the property. Directions to the parking will be provided with your check-in instructions. You have access to a second spot next in the parking lot next to the house. A parking permit is required for this. If you have more than two cars, the additional cars will need to find street parking, which is usually available one street over on Mulvey. We are also close to the paid municipal lot at $15/day.

We allow pets on the premises, which you need to know if you have severe allergies.

Everything was in good order. Gina was responsive when the coffee pot failed to work. One issue to be aware of; if you are driving a vehicle larger than a minivan. You may have trouble parking on the property. Host provides a paid pass to park in public parking garage .3 miles away . Or you have the option to park in the paid lot which is literally next door for 21.50/24 hours.

The house was clean. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The railing for the stairs are low on the second floor so if you have little kids, you have to be careful but that’s common with old houses. It was very close to old town and we were able to walk to a lot of the attractions.

Great location!

Cute and clean house located very close to all the historic district has to offer. Communication with the property manager was great! Parking is very tight and the area is pretty noisy at night. Curtains on the bedroom windows would be nice also.

Family Gathering

To many positive things to list but I will try. Communication was great, price was fantastic, size of the house and cleanliness was perfect. Literally the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. Front porch with rocking chair for all was nice for conversations. Just far enough to get away from the hustle but we still walked to all the attractions and food. We will 100% be back.

Accessible Location and Communicative Owners

Upon arrival we already knew where to go and what to do through the great communication of the owners, and property manager. After we were checked in it was just a short walk to get over to the historical district and explore Saint Augustine. I would highly recommend a stay here, it is just out of the way enough to be quiet but still be close enough to provide easy access to everything you would expect to be doing!

Convenient Location to HIstoric District

Great place to stay to tour the Historic District. The house is well maintained and the kitchen is so nice. We enjoyed the front and back porches. Parking is kind of tight if you have larger vehicles, but you know that in advance. Property managers always responded quickly to concerns and questions and were very friendly.

Charming stay in this lovely cottage --

My girlfriends and I had a lovely weekend in this charming home. It was comfortable, tastefully decorated and walkable to historic St. Augustine. The beds were comfortable and the home was quiet. Would love to return some day. Parking is a bit tight, but it all worked out just fine.

Fantastic Experience

The home was clean and well-stocked with general kitchen and household items. Check-in and check-out was super easy. Parking was pretty tight, but we used the pass for the parking garage a couple blocks away. We didn't need our car anyway since the location was within walking distance to historic downtown. We had a problem with the ceiling fan in one of the bedrooms and contacted the property manager. We left for a few hours and when we got back, it had already been fixed. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely look up this property next time we visit.

This place is super nice and so walkable to the downtown area. I loved it!!! Beds were comfy, living space was big and porch was so nice to sit on and enjoy morning coffee. Communication with property manager was fast! You literally can walk about 1/2 mile and you are in the heart of the historic district. Neighborhood is safe and plenty of walkers in the morning with their dogs out for a stroll. Parking is tight, so if you have a larger vehicle, may have to park somewhere else. Overall, you will love this place!!
