Nice location, very dated condo.
I love St. Augustine and the surrounding areas, so I still enjoyed spending a weekend there with my husband and kids, but we were disappointed about a few things with the rental property:
1) The phone number for the owner provided on the property listing was an inactive number. So the day I wanted to start my vacation I had to call VRBO and the rental office on site to try to find out how I was going to get in. All of those calls required leaving messages and waiting to hear back from people, which was stressful because I wanted to start my journey over there on time and with everything in order.
2) The people that work at the property were all very polite and helpful, but the condo itself is very very dated. The carpet has stains, the kitchen is old and there are no more than 3-4 dishes or pieces of silverware that are from the same set. The beds were ok, I guess, but the master bed didn't even have a bedskirt to hide the metal frame and some pieces of wood that were stored under the bed. Overall the appearance of the place leaves a lot to be said.
3) The TV and internet did not work either. I can live without TV, but my son had to do some school work while we were there and having to internet was a hassle.
If it weren't for the pretty beach and fun town nearby, I would have probably come home and cut my vacation short. I really did not like the condo itself.
