Publié le 27 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayThe cottage was nice for what we needed which was a place to shower and sleep. It was a little further from Acadia National Park (about 45 minute drive one-way). Allen was very kind and welcoming. The grounds were in need of some care and we are pretty sure there was a mouse in the cottage.

Cottagecore dreams

The cottage was exactly as advertised and contained anything you could ever need. Not to mention stunning views from the deck and an amazing location if you hope to visit Acadia during your stay. Alan was also very communicative and personable each time! He even provides a list of recommendation and amenities to ensure your comfort ! Will be back again soon!

It's in a location that makes it easy to visit Acadia National Park and the surrounding towns on Mount Desert Island. Alan is a great host, very personable and friendly. We enjoyed our stay and would.come again.

Warm, comfortable, clean, nice view
Publié le 26 févr. 2024 sur HomeAwayMy wife and I took a quick little getaway to see Arcadia in the winter. We also brought our 9 year old grandson with us. The cabin was awesome, extremely clean, had everything we needed, including a piano! Our grandson had a awesome time trying to play music, and he didn't do all that bad. We highly suggest this place if you want to be out of the Arcadia hustle bustle. It was very, very quiet at night. Amazing views of MT. Cadillac.

Anniversary Getaway

The cabin is located on a quiet street with an open landscape that allows for gorgeous views. The water was quick to heat and stay hot, the kitchenette was efficient, and the heat stayed consistent within the cabin.
My only “negative” is more a warning than anything: if you are 6’3” or taller and stand straight be careful of the wooden beam across the ceiling! It is a beautiful feature and I didn’t have to worry about it at all, but my partner did have to be wary.

Perfect Wintertime Stay
