We needed something close to Upstate Medical Center and this worked well for us. Our room was clean and pleasant, the staff were helpful, and the breakfast was satisfying.

Internet not reliable

The property was fine and our room was clean. But if you need working internet (I was trying to work) this is not the place to stay. It constantly went in and out and did not ever have a strong signal. The front desk worker was super helpful and even let me go to several rooms to see if I could get a stronger signal which I did move to but it still was unstable and I had to end up hotspotting to my phone most of the time. So if this is requirement for your stay I would find a place with better connection. Also, the housekeeping skipped our room most of the stay even though I had verified they would be coming. I had to call each day and verify and even in doing that and being assured they would service the room that day they still did not come. The front desk was great and property is maintained but the internet was a definite issue for me bc I needed to work on this trip.

Subject: Concern About Room Cleanliness During my stay, I found that the bed was not properly cleaned; upon inspection, I discovered a piece of hair on it. I also checked the bathroom and noticed a few stains, one of which appeared to be blood. I spoke with the front desk clerk, who kindly offered another room. However, given the issues I found during my initial inspection, my anxiety level was too high for me to feel comfortable or expect to get a good night’s sleep.

The Staff was nice, however the Hotel is in need of renovations, large gaps in the doors, allowed fruit flies and other bugs to enter the room. This was not an "inside" hotel. I chose this hotel because it was close to Syracuse University.

Overall above average. Check was smooth and friendly staff. I did notice there was a fly in my room and in lobby. Morning staff wasn’t as friendly they were barely awake. A light was flickering in lobby which was annoying and the tv wasn’t on for breakfast. I mean just little things but that’s the reason I didn’t rate higher.

Its a place to stay or sleep - staff are very nice but honestly the place look outdated already, the smell in the lobby have smell of something good but overwhelming , its like covering up a strong stinge. The rooms were clean, but the first two days no one cleaned our room. The third day, they changed our towels but did not clean the sink or make the bed. But did take our tip. The front desk staff were friendly. The facility is old. I was disappointed with the facility for the price I paid. Also, no dining options within walking distance. Homeless people in the parking lot asking for money. But it was only 10 minutes from Syracuse University.
