Gig Harbor Gem
Publié le 13 nov. 2023 sur HomeAwayCaptain’s Quarters was in a great location, easy walking to Susanne’s Bakery and Millville Pizza, as well as other Gig Harbor landmarks. It was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. We would stay there again.

Wonderful stay in Comfortable Home.
Publié le 26 oct. 2023 sur HomeAwayBeautiful home inside. Everything modern, comfortable and nicely decorated. Kitchen was great, nice bathroom, comfortable beds. Nice view across hill and homes above the harbor with view of harbor from beautiful living room, glassed in porch and deck. Short walk down to the harbor, the shops and walkway along the water with little parks and view points. Had some great seafood in close-by restaurants.

Gig Harbor Stay, to check out new property, in Squim.

The view is of the neighboring houses and a bit of the harbor, the architecture and calm waters has a very calming effect. It's very 'walkable'. We were fortunate to have beautiful weather all week and we enjoyed being right there.

Location is the positive
Publié le 22 sept. 2023 sur HomeAwayThis property looked great on the listing and is in a great walkable location however it is clearly is pet friendly home which was not shared. The home immediately smelled like a wet dog when we walked in and the smell never went away. It works great for people who have animals but we do not and would have liked to have known prior to booking as we would not have selected this home for both allergy and smell reasons. Also, the beds are all memory foam which we find to be very uncomfortable and I ended up sleeping on the sofa (which wreaked of dog) in order to be able to sleep. Outside of location, it is an average home but definitely not something we would select again based on the details shared.

We loved the location, walking distance to all of the restaurants. The linens on the beds need to be improved, the couch and dishes need to be better. Also, the curb appeal was poor with dead grass and the property marketed air conditioning and there was not any air conditioning, it was hot. Other than that, it was a charming place.
