I was charge more than expected. They did not have my reservation. The linens/towels were dingy and stained. Our room flooded with sewage. Not a fun time but the people were incredibly nice.

Hello, Anonymous, we can't over charge the Hotels.com guests unless if they don't show us their Reservation either hard copy or on the phone. The Hotels.com guests get special discounts. We are not aware of your raising over charge issue. You were offered Hotel Suite, that are specially set up for special guests. I was told that a wash cloth that look dingy was actually a cleaning rage, an housekeeper left it behind accidently. There are special towels in those four suits . The hotel was totally full . We have not had any complaints from any of our guests especially the ones from hotel suites. We are sorry and apologize for your inconvenience . However, we thank and appreciate you.

I would return to save some cash

Overall we were pleased with the price for the 4 days we spent there and the service was good as well. The hotel is beside a truckers route which is noisy at night but tolerable. I would rebook if I need to return to Tazewell.

Hello anonymous. We appreciate your kind review. Yes keep our price low and very affordable. By the way we have all double pane windows that helps a lot with the traffic noise unless it is an ambulance or a fire truck. You may also ask for rooms away from the traffic. We appreciate you very much. Thank you.

Convenient and Clean

Not what we were expecting but was close to dirt track and clean. Manager Justin was very nice and pleasant.

We actually cancelled our rooms when we pulled into the parking lot. Gang of guys hanging out in the parking lot. (Read a news article a few minutes before arriving about a shooting there in May, 2020.)

You are right. We had an unfortunate event. Hotel Manager was notified for the wrong people who were fighting. Manager immediately called the police force and had them taken out of the hotel within few minuets. It was not hotels fault. Please lets be fair, when shooting happens at the Walmart, it becomes a big news, people do not stop going to Walmart. We believe in the safety of our hotel guests and staff. We took care of the problem soon as we noticed. However we appreciate you.

Room review

Check in and stay was good as Sarah was very helpful and friendly..the cleanliness was very poor..Romm carpet and chairs were stained and very dirty, tile floor was sticky, no. Ups or glasses....was a bit of a disappointment ..Sarah was very good.

Hello, Debra, we are sorry for your bad experience. The room you were in was given to contractors for three weeks. Sarah is great employee, but she picked the wrong room for you. We have Hotel suites available with hardwood flooring especially for Expedia and Booking.Com guests. They were available. I will have a meeting with my staff to resolve this problem for future. Please always point out the problem as you notice in the room. We have instructions for staff to transfer you to another room. My cell phone number is written on the entry glass door and on the service window. You could also also ask for owner to discuss about your issue. I don't mind if any guest calls me at 3 am. We try to resolve the problem immediately. I apologize for your experience.

I am sorry, I don't see any review on this screen. All it says is 2 out of 5. I am assuming not very satisfactory. Without the detail problem , I am sorry to say I can make a comment. All I can say that the best way to handle issue is to always contact our front desk staff or ask for the owner's telephone number to discuss the problems. This way not only we will know what the problem is but also will address the problem at the same time.
