We had a great stay at Tokyu Stay Yotsuya in the Shinjuku area. The room was surprisingly spacious for Tokyo standards, which made the stay comfortable and relaxing. The location was excellent—very close to the train station and within walking distance to many parts of the city if you enjoy exploring on foot, with easy access to shops, restaurants, and attractions. That said, the cleaning service was a bit disappointing, as rooms are only cleaned every 7 days and our stay was 5 nights, so we didn’t receive any full cleaning during our visit. The amenities were also fairly minimal compared to other hotels. Overall, despite those drawbacks, we still had a very enjoyable stay thanks to the great location and comfortable room.

The rooms smelled like smoke, the hotel community space had dirt balls, the carpets needed a deep clean or best to be removed, the bathroom had a sour smell assume coming from the pipes and the furniture is outdated. Feel more like a motel. It was also really noisy in that part of town. The staff was kind enough to honor my request to leave a day early. Which I received a refund.
