Stayed 10 nights in September. Had to contact host to gain WiFi access, original information provided was not current. Refrigerator in kitchen wasnât very cold, used the second refrigerator in garage. Hot tub had grit/sand floating in it, didnât use it much. Fees and extra Traverse City charges were excessive. Too many options at this price point for me to return to this rental.
Our stay at the cozy farmhouse was beautiful. Check in was seamless and the host was extremely responsive throughout our stay. It was cold out (end of February), but my family still enjoyed the hot tub out back. Neighborhood was quiet and comfortable. Pool table and games were a blast. Local convenience mart has everything you'll need (pricey but convenient). Approximately 15 minutes from beaches and Peace, Love and Donuts but yummy option. It was a great stay!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Kitchen is well stocked. Hot tub is hot and we took enjoyed of it since we didn't have snow. Location is great for time in Traverse City as well as nearby ski slopes.
We had a great time staying at the long lake farmhouse. We came up to TC for a quick family getaway before the holidays. We all enjoyed sitting under the stars in the hot tub and had fun playing some pool on the pool table. Loved that it was pet friendly, We were able to bring our dog on our quick trip. We would stay again in the future!
We spent a long weekend at the property over spring break. The house had everything we needed and the beds were very comfortable. We did enjoy the hot tub in the evenings after shopping and hiking during the day. The hot tub was small but it was still nice to have available. You do have to refill it if you have more than two people in it as it will overflow but they left instructions that were easy to follow and have a warm water supply for it. We brought our 2 dogs with us and while we brought their dishes and beds from home we really appreciated how pet friendly they were and the owners had them available in case you donât want to pack them. The kitchen was well stocked with spices and baking dishes if you want to cook at the house. We loved that it was close to Traverse City for shopping and restaurants but also a short drive to Sleeping Bear Dunes, Leland, Glen Arbor and more. We hiked the dunes and a couple of trails near the property around Long Lake that were pretty even in the cold.
