Everything but the kitchen sink

The property was very nice except for the kitchen. The sink was backed up with nasty smelling black water with debris in both sinks. When you ran water into the right sink, it bubbled up into the left sink. We called and texted with Vacasa, but no remedy was taken. No one came out to fix the problem. We weren't able to cook any meals in the unit. The whole point of staying in a condo versus a hotel was so that we could prepare our own meals for 3 days of our 9 day vacation. We were very disappointed with the lack of response from Vacasa.

Spacious two-bedroom unit near ocean

Fully equipped with modern kitchen and everything needed for cooking in. TVs in bedrooms and living room with multiple channels. Nice balcony and just three blocks from ocean and restaurants. Tubs in bathrooms could use grab bars for older renters. No hassles with check-in or check-out. Nice unit.

Good experience

The condo was in a great location and pretty clean. The only problems we had were a delay in check in and some trouble with the access code for the door.

We had a great time and enjoyed everything except the WiFi did not work very well nor was there good phone reception until we got near the beach.

We enjoyed our stay. We're locals so we frequent the beach quite often and take mini staycations. The only downside to this unit was when we first got there our room smelled like cigarette smoke. Our towels smelled like smoke as well. Everything else was amazing but we're not smokers so the cigarette smell was pretty disappointing. Outside of that, I love how fully stocked the kitchen was with cooking & baking vessels. Very accommodating and the best condo we've rented on the island quite frankly. Hopefully the cigarette smell won't be an issue in the future because we plan to come BACK and stay at this one again!:) Thank you, Vacasa. P.S I only rated the communication a "1" bc it didn't apply for this rental as everything was done paperless and we had self check-in/check-out. We didn't have to "communicate" with anyone

Worse Rental Experience EVER!

I always use VRBO or other vacation rental sites when I travel and THIS was the worst experience ever! When we opened the door to the Vacasa Property we were immediately hit by the stench of a dead animal and the place was infested with flies. We discovered the smell was coming from the garbage disposal so we tried to use whenever cleaners we had at hand to resolve the problem. We were not able to so we called the main Vacasa contact line. There were 5 callers ahead of us so we took the advice of the automated message and texted the company. The company texted back stating they would contact the local agent. We also texted the local agent then left the property because the stench was too much. Three hours later - still no response. We went to a local convenient store and bought $40 worth of cleaning supplies hoping to mask the vile odor and tame the flies so we could sleep. The next day we talked to someone at the main Vacasa number. Our complaint had been received and registered; however, there was no response from the local agent. The Vacasa agent said they would call the local agent and call us back in 5 minutes…..that was over 2 days ago and I still have not heard from either the Vacasa company or the local agent. Over our 3 days stay, we cleaned the garbage disposal and kitchen in general 5 different times and yet, I still could not sit on the couch without being swarmed by flies. I couldn’t even use the bathroom without flies. The flies were everywhere! The Vacasa Property Management and local agent for this property not only didn’t resolve the issue, they completely ignored us. There is no excuse for this apathetic, unprofessional and absolutely shameful customer service. Did VRBO even vet the Vacasa company? Sadly, based on this experience, if VRBO is trusting their reputation to companies like Vacasa, we won’t be trusting our vacations to VRBO.

Excellent location!

This property was grat the layout of the home was perfect for our family it was very clean for a beach house. They didn't have coffee though so unless you want to pick up coffee every morning bring some. We got coffee out each morning but it was a 7 min walk to an open coffee house(the close strip didn't open till 9). The only problem we had that I called about and wasn't resolved was somebody parked in our parking space.. luckily we didn't get blocked in, and I hear that is also a problem.

Great location

Great location to walk just anywhere you need to go…restaurants, bars and the beach. The drive into Savannah isn’t bad at all and then you get the best of both worlds. The condo was pretty clean but there was blue soap in the shower that wasn’t clean out properly. I would also suggest bringing your own towels. They do not supply enough when there is a group of women staying. You literally only get one washcloth and one towel per person for your trip. Overall it was a nice condo and it was perfect for our needs, we would definitely stay again.

So many attempts at reaching out with the same answer ,yes we will take care of this nothing was ever done , tried to be courteous, understanding, patient, grumpy, annoyed, no tactic worked, and I am usually very tactful, try to put myself in the other person's shoes, but the time and effort spent on my part made no difference...very disappointed 😞
