Unprofessional Host

Host never gave check in information and was unresponsive for 36 hours leading up to check in time as well, citing that he was traveling internationally. Had to connect with him via VRBO who got a hold of him and he told me i needed to ask VRBO support for the contact of his co-host instead of letting me know that he was going to be unresponsive. He promised me a refund which i still have not yet seen since we did not stay at his property.

BYOP (Bring your own plunger)

This house was clean but thats about it. The property manager was not available for issues or questions through the stay. He NEVER responded. I had to reach out multiple times to get the code to even get into the place. We never recieved any instructions or helpful information. We arrived super late at night with no guidance on even the simple question of where to park or what the door number was. The house was clean on arrival. Warning, the basement room bed is like sleeping on a piece of plywood covered by a sheet. Also, the washer and dryer are shared and we didnt even find it till the morning we left. We did have an issue with the toilet that required a plunger. There was no plunger in the house. After waiting all day for an answer from the manager, which we never got, we went out and bought a plunger to use. The next morning, again no communication, there was a plunger on the front porch. If i could give 0 stars for the manager I would. So if you want to book this place, know youll get a clean place and better pray nothing goes wrong because you will not get any help.
