Amazing property

This is our favourite place to stay when we travel to Langley.

Publié le 13 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayKathleen has an amazing property - perfect for a couple. She has looked after every detail - we couldn’t think of one thing that was missing. Hard to believe that you are in the middle of a city! Even go to see Northern Lights. We’ll definitely be back.

It was a pleasure to meet you both and thank you for leaving the suite so tidy and clean.
There was no need to do the laundry but it turned out to be a huge help as I had guests coming in behind you so thank you for that too. Enjoy your continued travels.

second visit and loved it
Publié le 8 févr. 2024 sur HomeAwayThis was our second visit to the Carriage House Farm, we have stayed in other rentals in Fort Langley, and this is definitely our first choice.
The separate building on the property provides quiet and privacy, the completely above ground suite has the best landscape scenery, the view of the overall property is beautiful, enjoyable even with the unexpected snow cover.
The suite has the best kitchen we've stayed in for cooking and baking, the best welcoming snacks on our arrival, the living room is bright and sunny, well suited for reading in the afternoon, or watching the screen in the evening, the WIFI is strong for both personal and business connections, and of course our host Kathleen is always available by text and in person for advice and assistance.
Highly recommend.

I was so pleased to walk into the suite after you left to find I basically had very little to do other than some laundry and light cleaning. You left it absolutely spotless. Also having left the funds behind I reimbursed you for, for having missed 2 nights because of weather and cancelled flights was totally unnecessary. That was quite the payment for one broken glass and again not necessary. Lol

Such a relaxing, clean and quiet place to stay, the Suite has everything a couple needs for a delightful time in British Columbia. We enjoyed everything about our 4-night stay, Kathleen is a terrific host - every detail has been taken care of to make folks like us so very comfortable and happy! Couldn’t ask for a better place to stay

She accommodated me in every way possible and I would not hesitate to select this host or property again in the future. My only hope is that it’s not booked for my next unexpected trip to Vancouver. Thanks again. I felt safe and right at home. 💜💜💜

Picturesque and serene! We love staying here. The kitchen is well equipped to cook and we always enjoy the walk to Fort Langley village for meals and shopping.

Country oasis in the city!
Publié le 20 juill. 2023 sur HomeAwayWhat an absolute gem this place is! I have stayed in self-catering accommodation throughout Canada and the UK and Kathleen's place is now in my top 3 to re-visit. Kathleen is a communicative and generous host and the accommodation is spotless with every amenity needed for a short or long stay. I loved every minute of my time at Kathleen's and would not hesitate to recommend her place to anyone seeking a country oasis in the city!

Hi Sandra, thank you for your lovely comments in my guest book. One of my favourite sayings these days is “I just remembered I forgot” to send you the info. on the bar handle in the shower unit from your previous stay so I hope you took note this time. Sorry about that.
