The stay was fine but some of the other guests were loud and argued outside until well past midnight. We couldn’t sleep because of the yelling and slamming doors so we left after a few hours

We called 2 days before arriving to arrange a late checkin between 2-3am. They said no problem someone would be there and late checkin is ok. We arrived at the hotel at 2am to find the front office locked and a no vacancy sign. Tried calling the hotel several times with no answer. Contacted hotels.com support who said all they can do is try to call the hotel. So we spent the next 2 hours driving and trying to find somewhere to stay as most in the area were fully booked. Ended up spending even more money at a crummy hotel and hardly getting any sleep. Hotels.com eventually refunded us for the original booking after getting approval from “at home inn”. Very poor experience with both hotels.com and at home inn.

This room was so bad we only stayed one of the four nights we paid for and it was non-refundable. We didn’t have extra money but had no choice but to find lodging elsewhere. We are still waiting to see if there will be an additional refund as promised from the front desk. TBD… We had to wipe down the room. Both beds were super saggy and looked and felt like springs wrapped in a mattress pad. No continental breakfast to speak of. This is a “refurbished” motel but no real upgrades. I feel a lot of the reviews for this motel are from people thinking they are referencing the Home 2 hotel.

The room was just okay. The mini frig was rusty and the freezer had ice chunks all over the bottom and it had not been cleaned out. The microwave inside door had leftover food crusted on it. The remote controls were grimey. But the worst part was there was no way to lock the room from the inside. It made us feel unsafe. The reviews I read before booking were all great but recent reviews indicated that the police had been called a few times for disturbances. And apparently transient people live there. This is not your typical hotel. The only good things were the bed was comfortable and the price was good. But I would not stay here again. I feel the listing information was misleading.

The room was clean, the staff was nice. The bed was a bit odd that I actually was able to move the bedframe which I hadn't seen before in a motel. But it wasn't a major issue. The only reason I gave 4 stars compared to 5 was the noise. Off and on all night and then in the morning, there was loud talking outside my room. It's as if they were hanging out in front of my room. Very odd. I think the morning people might have been employees but I'm not certain. Bottom line, it was clean, safe and the staff was polite. If you are looking for an economy stay, I would recommend it.
