Curtains don't cover windows. Beds in 2 rooms are bad.

Queen and twin beds are horribly unconformable and need to be replaced. King bed was ok.
Only 1 pillow per person and they were worn out, flat.
The curtains are too narrow and don't cover the windows. We found blankets to hang on 2 of the windows.
No bath soap.
There was a coffee maker and coffee but no sugar or sweetner.
No grab bars in the shower/tubs. It was dangerous and difficult to get out of the tub.
Bath towels looked awful with worn out edges but they did the job.
Not enough washcloths for everyone to have one.
The house is not visible from the Highway. There is a sign but you can't read it until you are practically next to it.
Best part of the house was the view from the balcony, especially in the morning.

I’m so sorry to hear about your stay. The bath soaps and sugar/sweeteners are something that must be provided by the guests. We will provide the main necessities/toiletry/basic soaps such as dish washing soaps, hand soaps, laundry soaps, paper towels, toilet paper, towels, bedding, coffee, dishes, ect. The bath towels have been inspected by the owners for any worn out edges. The listing of our property before booking doesn’t mention wheelchair accessible or grab bars. It’s just advertised as it is. If that’s something needed by the guests, I would advise to reach out to owner for any questions or concerns before booking if it wasn’t mentioned in the property description. The reason the sign is out by the road is because the house sits further back and that’s what makes the scenic views that you enjoyed. Hope you were still able to enjoy your stay. Safe travels.

Great house for a good price!
Publié le 12 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayWe stayed at the house for a week while we were fishing a tournament at lake Tenkiller and had nothing bad to say. The house works perfect for 3-4 people. Plenty of room in the house and all basic necessities were provided. The driveway is a little steep but there is plenty of truck and boat parking on the property. The house was quite very peaceful. And it is close to Tenkiller and there are plenty of gas stations close by. Highly recommend this house

Home away from home
Publié le 13 déc. 2023 sur HomeAway5 friends and I came up from Alabama to hunt for 8 days and this place had everything we needed and more. Fingers crossed this home will be available for next years trip as well. The owner is very responsive and will do anything you need. This is been one of the most enjoyable short term rental houses I’ve been in.

We wanted to be as close as possible and hotel accommodations are further than we wanted to be. I decided to check VRBO, and I’m so glad that I did! I had no idea there would be such a great little place in Vian, OK! We loved the cabin and would absolutely stay again. Ciara was so helpful and responsive at a time that grief was making the day hard for us. We really appreciate y’all opening your lake home to our family. My boys loved sitting on the back deck after dark and just relaxing. They have already asked if we could come back next time we are in town.

Anybody booking this rental should remember to bring your own shower gel, shampoo and hair dryer. Also, there were no hangars in the closets making it difficult to store your clothes. But, if you don't mind living out of a suitcase, the is a perfect property. I will book it again.
