Poor Customer Service

The room was not ready when we arrived a little after 4:00 pm and they apologized and asked us to wait about 30 minutes. The room itself was fine, but there were few amenities. The next morning I requested a late checkout and was rudely refused. I don't think the owners understand customer service.

The neighbourhood, trails, and surrounding property is gorgeous. We did not have time to go to the pub / restaurant / exercise facilities so cannot comment. We brought our dog and there were poop bags and a nice note outlining all the rules and expectations left in the room on our arrival, so that was really good and clear. None of that was a problem. At 7 pm we received a call asking if we were coming. We commented that we were on the highway and about an hour away and the caller asked if we wanted to cancel our (prepaid) room. Very odd and of course we said no and arrived at the time expected. Since someone was at the front desk long after we arrived, it wasn't a case of closing the front desk. Other than that the stay was fine.

We enjoyed our stay. We were on the first floor, would have been nice to be up and have a bit of a view for the price we paid. Everyday we got a text asking us if we needed anything which was nice. The room was large and clean. We hosted some family and friends for a happy hour with snacks so we liked having the counter space kitchenette area.

I like the quietness and scenery. The hotel room was very nice and cleaned. There is no amenities like free gym and not many walking trails. More for golfers only.

A group of people partied till well after -1:00 am in the morning on a hockey night. They were yelling and screaming and one fellow was kicking at a door to be let in. Housekeeping deteriorated during our stay leaving dirty cups and glasses behind.

The suites reminded me of the RCI properties. We had a king bed suite full equipped. Very spacious, quiet and part view of the golf course. My only criticism will be the pillow, so soft with no support. The building is well located at the top of the mountain. If you visit during this time, be aware of construction areas along the way. Accessible parket and food.places very close by. Over all, was a nice stay.

Three dressed up as a nine. Half of the lights don't work. There are holes in the wall where things used to be perhaps. The carpets have runs in them. They leave the hideous giant orange carts of linens out in the hallways evenings and overnight. Classless place.

Great stay

i recently stayed at this hotel for four nights following a surgery, and I was thoroughly impressed. The customer service was outstanding, with Peter being particularly helpful another lady too but didn’t catch her name. The location felt safe and secure, adding to the peace of mind during my recovery. My room was impeccably clean. I don't typically write reviews, but the exceptional experience warranted sharing.
