Newly Renovated Home / On Quiet Nature Sanctuary

Not only does this home back onto a nature sanctuary but the house itself boasts vaulted ceilings, and spacious living area and bedrooms. You'll feel like you're staying at a resort!
****New rules in British Colombia state that all short term rentals must be part of the owners principal residence. Any short term rental you look at in BC or certainly in the greater Victoria are has to comply with these same rules. These rules are enforced by huge fines or delisting properties that are not compliant.
Having said that, my wife and I are compliant and have completed all documentation with the province and the local city government. We have purpose built a lovely three bedroom, two and a half bathroom space for you to enjoy.
Having said that you must understand that WE LIVE IN THE BASEMENT with our small dog Hershey. She is a hypoallergenic dog. Meaning those that may have allergy concerns should not be concerned. She is non shedding and her breed is a Cockapoo. Hershey has no access to the rental space unless it is given to her by our guests. She sometimes spends more time with our guests than she does with us.
The basement suite has it's own entrance and thus your space is completely separate. We have been using this daily rental as our retirement income for many years and are very comfortable with the set up. We leave our guest completely alone to enjoy the space as they like and have no issues with groups of any size. This stunning 3 bedroom plus two sofa beds with double mattresses/ 2.5 bathroom home is newly renovated and minutes from the regions famous Starlight Stadium and other local favorites.
Home features hot water on demand.(never runs out) Air conditioning. Living room and family room. Two TVs. Lots of room for the extended family or kids to spread out.
We also offer a dream kitchen with tons of counter space for the chef or baker in the group.

The space
This stunning and extremely spacious 3 bedroom is newly renovated top to bottom, including a brand new kitchen with gas range. On the main floor, you'll find a large living room and dining room, which leads into the kitchen. Off of the kitchen is a separate family room with new 4K 50" TV and powder room. All bedrooms are upstairs (Primary with en-suite), along with a second full bath and laundry room. Take advantage of the (nearly) year-round temperate weather in Victoria on the deck off the kitchen, with gas BBQ

Great for family, super home and location.

The property is very clean and very spacious. It was able to house all six adults and a three year-old for 5 days. Central location meant easy access to Langford and area. While it would’ve been good to be able to access the backyard, the sitting areas and the deck were really nice. We enjoyed being able to cook a couple meals in the kitchen and several commented on how well provisioned the kitchen was. We highly recommend this house and the host. If we’re in the area again and we have a large group, we’ll be looking at renting this house again.

Great Location and Comfortable Beds, But Important Details Were Overlooked

We recently stayed at this VRBO property and appreciated several positive aspects, including a very convenient location, comfortable beds, and high-quality towels. The microwave, dishwasher, and general cleanliness of the kitchen were satisfactory, making it suitable for light meal preparation.However, there were a few concerns worth noting for future guests:1. Owner Entry Without Notice: The owners entered the property during our stay without prior communication or our consent to collect garbage. This raised concerns around privacy and safety.2. Security and Multi-Unit Access: The listing notes you get the "entire home", however, the house is a multi-rental property, but this was not clearly stated or emphasized. The information appeared mid-paragraph and was easy to overlook. Upon arrival, we realized there were other occupants in the home, including a dog. In addition, there are at least two interior doors that we, as guests, could not lock—posing a potential security issue for those unfamiliar with the setup.3. Cleanliness and Maintenance: While parts of the home were clean, the overall condition did not match the “spotless” description. The bathroom floor needed more attention, and high-touch surfaces like kitchen cabinetry, doors and walls could use a deeper cleaning. The windows (both inside and out) were noticeably in need of washing, and one stove burner was not functioning properly. Cookware and utensils were worn and of low quality, which limited our abilit

Wonderful home away from home for large family

Our family of 8 had a wonderful stay. The house was very well set up for our needs and gave us room to spread out. The kitchen was well stocked with supplies for cooking and the host was quick and helpful in responding to questions. The welcome basket was also a nice treat! We found the house to be very well situated for our needs as well. Easy to get in to Victoria and also to head out towards Sooke. We would definitely stay here again!

Fabulous Property

Awesome place to stay home away from home. House had everything we needed and more. Great communication and we loved the added bonus of having "Hershey" greet us whenever we arrived home. Great family or friends house with 2 living rooms and 2.5 baths, 3 bedrooms with air conditioning. Great hosts and fun dog that visits if you want. Hershey is a loving cockapoo. Remodeled with beautiful bathrooms and kitchen. Lots of hot water for 7 people and well stocked kitchen.

Excellent group accommodation while in town for wedding

We were visiting Langford for our friend’s wedding this past weekend and Tim’s place was the perfect accommodation for our group of 9 adults. The location was close to Victoria, 8 min drive to Hatley Castle and close to shops and restaurants. Plus the Galloping Goose trail and transit were just down the street. A very walkable place! Everything was clean and organized and Tim was great to communicate with. The rooms were comfortable and the kitchen was a good size for cooking group meals. We enjoyed our evenings in the living room with the fire crackling beside us. The views at the back of the house of the nature reserve were very beautiful and we also enjoyed a morning walk around Glen Lake. The highlight of our stay was getting to play with Tim’s dog Hershey - what a sweet girl. We gladly accepted her inside to hang out with us! Tim’s care and attention to ensuring we had a comfortable stay was greatly appreciated. You were one of the best hosts I have had! Thank you! I would absolutely recommend staying here.

Great time.

This rental was in an excellent location for visiting parks and beaches. The residence gave us plenty of space and had everything we needed. Nessa and Tim were great at responding immediately to any issue we had. And Hershey was absolutely adorable. I highly recommend this rental.

This property worked well for us. There was plenty of space in the house, a nice deck and beautiful backyard. It served as a nice oasis at the end of each long day of activities. Location was good. Communication with Tim was easy and timely.

This is a not an entire place for VRBO, only upper layer. Basement was rented separately. This place has dog in basement so be careful if anyone allergic to animal. Overall is clean place, easy to find, 20min away from downtown Victoria.

Fantastic
