Publié le 8 mars 2024 sur HomeAwayThis was my second time staying at a unit at this property. The location is perfect, close to Waldport and a short drive to Yachats and Newport. The units are clean and cute with great beach views. Will be staying again in May.

Clean but missing a key amenity
Publié le 13 juin 2023 sur HomeAwayEverything about the state as clean and nice and easy, but the hot tub on the patio was not working—water was cold and no power. Totally understand that power surges happen and there’s only so much to be done on short notice, but as it was a selling point and the reason we picked it, it was very disappointing and we hope to be at least partially compensated. The fact that it was operated through a large company made problem solving almost impossible, as the only people reachable were a help line miles away and not people on the site.

Concrete Bed
Publié le 6 févr. 2022 sur HomeAwayThe one bed has to be the firmest allowed by law. It was like concrete slab. The pull out bed was no mattress and bar in the middle which is sum what normal for pull out but not with previous guests kids candy still in it when you do open it ,we did find other sheets and were able to remake and use it.. The microwave glass broke first time we ran microwave to pop popcorn. I couldn't call manager as 0 bars with verizon service not sure about others there. The back porch basically un use able unless sunny as dripped all along it from above. The view was great and it is super close to beach couple minute walk. No drapes though soon as sun comes up so is whomever sleeps on pull out. Hope this helps others for the price will never stay there again.

Beautiful view
Publié le 24 juill. 2021 sur HomeAwayWe had a wonderful stay. The property was clean and has been newly renovated inside. There is a short path and then steep stairs before getting to the beach. I don’t remember there being anything about stairs when I booked our vacation. I have limited mobility but it was still doable with the stairs and we would stay here again. The only suggestions I would make is a hot tub on the back deck would be amazing. It looks like there used to be one there previously. And the WiFi was really terrible. Which was not a huge deal but frustrating when texts messages don’t go through, and we had a hard time watching movies.
Overall though, it was a wonderful vacation and we would absolutely come here again!

Enjoyable Oceanfront Cottage
Publié le 9 mars 2021 sur HomeAwayThe location was excellent. Located on the oceanfront the view of the was beautiful. Walking down a flight of stairs gave you direct access to the beach. I would recommend bringing some headlamps or flashlights to get on the beach at night.
The size of the property was good for the two of us and our our two dogs. Small bedroom, Small Kitchen, Living Room and Bathroom. We truly enjoyed our stay.
We did travel in the winter, so I was disappointed the fireplace was out of order and there seemed to be issues with the heater and thermostat in the living room. Nothing we couldn’t live without, and wouldn’t stop me from going back.

Just what we were looking for!
Publié le 25 janv. 2021 sur HomeAwayThis retro cottage has a stunning view, right by Big Stump. 1- story cottage, no stairs were perfect for my elderly father. My dog immediately found the dog dish and toy when we arrived. Super friendly staff make you feel at home. Definitely coming back!
