Created by architect Robert Barnes, Fenwick House is situated directly on Mecox Bay in the historic Southampton hamlet of Water Mill.

Exclusive: Your serene, beautiful, very private and luxurious post-modern compound with fantastic views, heated Gunite swimming pool, working stone fireplace, high-speed WiFi, best of indoor-outdoor living, bbq & a chefs kitchen with SubZero and Bosch appliances.

The triple-mint location is between Southampton and East Hampton, the Bridgehampton Polo Club, Shinnecock Hills Golf Club and the very best Hamptons beaches.

Spectacular Mecox Bay designer home perfect for couples and families who know how special it is to be right on the water. Fish right from your lawn, enjoy incredible views, relax in the heated pool and be close to the best of the Hamptons in prestigious Watermill South.

The residence features a stunning oversized living area with triple-height glass windows offering unobstructed views onto Mecox Bay, three beautiful bedrooms furnished with one King and two Queen-size beds, and two and a half bathrooms and outdoor shower (as well as inside, of course).

Central air conditioning on a Nest thermostat, true chefs kitchen with counter seating and SubZero and Decor appliances, OXO coffeemaker, microwave, toaster oven, and plenty of quality cookware, dishware, serving sets and utensils for entertaining. Enjoy dinners at a classic farm dining table that comfortably seats 10, multiple sofas for relaxing and several large TVs. There is a gorgeous modern stone working fireplace, washer/dryer and everything else you would expect from a seriously high-end home, from five-star hotel quality cotton linens to plenty of private parking. Bicycles and beach chairs are available for use, as well as board games, lawn jarts, and even a canoe and two Stand Up Paddleboards you can use right from your dock.

Enjoy lounging and entertaining beneath heritage shade trees protecting blue stone walkways, outdoor sofas and a separate dedicated dining area featuring a gas barbeque. There is a Gunite swimming pool (heated for a fee) and the entire property enjoys lightning-fast Google Mesh WiFi and is wired for home entertainment, inside and out.

This home comes with regular pool service and lawncare.

Guests have exclusive, private access to the entire house and grounds on a spacious property directly on Mecox Bay.

Wonderful stay in Water Mill

I can’t say enough good things about our stay in Water Mill. The house was beautiful ,clean and welcoming. Our family loved looking out at the water ( and swans) first thing in the morning while we drank coffee. The pool was perfect for really hot days when we couldn’t make it to the beach and the lawn was perfect for a game of croquet and for our energetic doggo. Lynn and Daniel were amazing hosts and super with communication! The only downside was leaving!

Beautiful waterfront home

We visit the area frequently and this was one of the best homes we’ve stayed in despite terrible weather for the weekend. We weren’t able to take advantage of paddleboard’s bikes and a canoe which would’ve been amazing. The home also has a wonderful outdoor dining space and pool which of course could not be used in the rain. Len was very communicative and we did not have any problems at all with the home. The home was well stocked with kitchen supplies laundry supplies and cleaning supplies as well as shampoo and conditioner which we appreciated. We will definitely return.

fantastic house, highly recommended!

This is a 5 star rental! The host could not have been more responsive, helpful, and accomodating, the house is on a beautiful piece of property in an excellent location, very cool house that is totally comfortable and has everything you need. We loved our time there and would certainly return.

Mecox Magic

The house is wonderfully located at the top of Mecox Bay. We stayed here for two weeks at the onset of the coronavirus outbreak and were transfixed by the views. Watching flocks of assorted birds and changes in weather patterns were a welcome reprieve from the world. Lynn and Dan could not have been kinder and more responsive to our requests.

Great Hamptons getaway

Fantastic location a short drive from ocean beaches, downtown Southampton and Bridgehampton. Gorgeous water views of Mecox Bay from the house and the expansive lawn made for a lovely and relaxing setting and the pool was great. Owner Lynn was very helpful and accommodating.

Hamptons Getaway

The property was in the perfect location! It was close to everything you would want to see during your stay in the Hamptons. Owners are friendly and knowledgeable and personally greeted us when we checked in for our stay. Our daughters loved the pool and catching fireflies at night. The view from almost every part of the house is incredible. If you want to relax and enjoy beautiful surroundings, this is the house you need to rent.
